a nice book for the surgical diseases & principles .
it explains the points in a very good way for understanding .
i advice to read this book on the first exposure to general surgery on medical school , but it's not a source for review , it's just for reading the topics to understand & have general ideas .
so it's not suitable for usmle , exams or review of topics you knew .

(english equivalent of "Chirurgie pro střední zdravotnické školy I-III" by doc. MUDr. F. Vyhnánek, Csc.)
i liked it, however a quarter of it was more of a surface general knowledge, than an actual nurses surgery guide, i enjoyed parts where they talk about prep for surgery, basics of anesthesiology, then ofc the best parts were neurosurgery, gastroenterology and cardiology, then came long dreaded traumatology and urology, but it was very concise and not beyond what youd expect from a 19yo nurse in this field, however it kept my hunger for knowledge active and got me through with a pleasant experience, would still recommend to some
