DNF @ 65%. This freebie started out so good; it was as ridiculous as I expected from the title but it didn't take itself too seriously and basically outright acknowledged its own ridiculousness. Then it veered hard right into over dramatic nonsense and lost all of its charm. I'm disappointed because the first 30% was really good. Then the typos, editing flubs and continuity errors kicked in and I lost all motivation to finish the book.

Forbidden romance novella.

Short and steamy, Jude and Cash’s story was entertaining and gave exactly what it was supposed to give.
It was pretty fast-paced, a little OTT but still fun and extremely hot — shower scenes just hit different 🌶️🥵

Thought this would be a hot treat with a sweet edge, but yeah no, it was just awful.

The writing was simple, almost juvenile, the storytelling bad and somehow the whole thing felt disrespectful and some things were just plain dumb.

This story is so much more than the title, or the blurb about "cheating" may imply to you as the reader. It's more complex, and relatable, than such a simple concept. Jude is a complicated man who is clearly overwhelmed by everything that's spiraling out of his control, and he deals with that by NOT dealing with it. And I think we've all been in that place in our lives before where we just don't see the place to start to "fix" or change the things we know we should. Enter Cash, as the catalyst for the big blow up Jude needs to start taking back control of his life and doing the work to fix things. But Cash has his own motivations for the things he's doing, and that makes it really complicated when both their hearts get involved. Yes, there is cheating, but with a wife like Linda, I don't honestly think he did anything wrong besides not divorcing her years before... but then, we wouldn't have gotten this achingly emotional and complicated relationship that just works between Jude and Cash. The author has written an emotional, and yes, super hot story (lots of spicy scenes), about two people who aren't "supposed" to be together, but when you read about it, you just know they are and the ending (while a little over-the-top), is super sweet and satisfying.

I read a lot of romance and thinking back, I think this is the first book I've read with cheating in it- at least in regards to the protagonist(s). It's not a trigger for me, but was never something that interested me as a plot point. As soon as I read the title of this book I knew I had to check it out. I've also read a few other books by this author and enjoyed them. I really liked both Jude and Cash. They had such great chemistry and I enjoyed the building of their relationship. But Cash was there for revenge- feelings weren't supposed to get involved. I couldn't wait to see how things would turn out! 4 stars.

This novella was a cute, sexy short read. Cash and Jude are adorable and so hot together. Cash has moved in with his sister and her husband to exact his revenge, seduce his brother in law and crush his sister, instead he falls for Jude. Jude is a writer and pretty much lives in his fantasy world, ignoring the fact his wife is clearly cheating on him. His brother in law comes to live with them and he is immediately attracted to the guy and they start their own affair. It’s all fun and games and sexy times til feelings get involved. These two have their rocky moments, cause hello? Revenge plot and cheating is a recipe for disaster. But these two have pure and not so pure feelings for one another. The story is fast paced and plenty hot, definitely had the potential for a full length novel. The plot was intriguing, the characters endearing, and full of spice. The writing was well done. A short read that packs a spicy punch.

EPIC!! I don't normally condone cheating but I truly find the bisexual awakening amazing. Sometimes it takes a while to find your true person whether it is a woman or a man. Jude is a wonderful character and Cash is a masterpiece. I love how they came together. Jude and Cash were made for one another. They are the missing puzzle pieces of each other's lives. The breakup was devastating a little bit but I love how they reunited and are now living out their lives as one. Cash is the perfect muse for Jude. I can just picture them living in their brand new home together after Cash graduation. I can only imagine them getting married. I could not put this book down. It was such a masterpiece and I will definitely reread this novel over and over again.

Cute short story

So I loved Cash and Jude as individuals and as a couple. I might have wanted read some more details and not just time jumping forward when things were finished. (trying to be wage and not spoil anything).
I'm not usually a fan of cheating and the stupidest excuse I've hears is if it's the same sex then it's not cheating - however in this book I didn't mind that. It was written in a way where I could see how it could create inner chaos when you have conscience - when you don't have that and it's brushed off is when I have a problem to enjoy the character of the book. This was fast read, cute and even though I would have liked more details and more of the couple it was good as it is.

I read this novel because I read other books from this writer and liked them. Since this is a novel, this is a shorter story, but it does have a whole story in it with enough details.
Jude is a writer and is stuck with the last book in his trilogy when his wife takes her brother into their home. Jude gets lots of inspiration, he never knew he was looking for.
Cash had the plan to get back at his sister by destroying her marriage, but when he meets Jude his plans change.
Spicy read indeed and if you are into these kind of books, this is certainly a read for you.

The blurb sounded great and I liked the bit of sample that I read but I couldn’t get through the book. I DNFd at 54%, my copy had so many continuity errors that it made it hard to read, and Cash’s treatment of Jude seems conflicting to what his thoughts were, although that could be because I didn’t finish the story.

Hopefully all the continuity errors are fixed for publication.

I thoroughly enjoyed Ezra's previous two books so was looking forward to more from this author and I absolutely loved this unique story. A page turning must read, well written storyline with plenty of emotion and heat! Great MC's Cash and Jude and also side characters whose stories I am also looking forward to. Highly Recommend.

I assumed this would be mindless smut when I found the book free on Amazon (I think?) boy was I wrong! What an amazing story, yes it was smutty and spicy but the storyline was relatable and very well written. I raced through this book and couldn’t get enough. My only constructive criticism is I would have loved more character background and development to feed into my love of the characters, it felt like Cash was a stranger and I think it would have been nicer to know him a bit more.

Parts of this are quite hot and there is the basis for an interesting story. Unfortunately the author isn’t particularly interested in that story. There are some annoying continuity errors and several pivotal moments are lost to time jumps. I really wish this had been handed off to someone more willing to see it through to its full potential.

The attraction between Cash and Jude is firery! Even though Cash wanted to bust his sister's marriage up he started laying his love foundation with Jude. Both are dominant in their own way.

There is something about a wife’s brother, bi-awakening romance that feels so deliciously naughty to me that I cannot help but want to read them all. While this story was a little bit ridiculous I was able to enjoy it as what it was, a spicy short story with a hint of forbidden love. The relationship between the two felt a little over the top, especially the ending but it was undeniably cute.

If you are looking for a fast and cute palette cleaner then this one might be for you.

Spicy? Yes. M/M Romance? Yes. Cheating? Yes. Humour? Yes. There are a lot more "yes'" I could add to this list but I won't for these, hopefully, give you a taste of what this story is about. Even better though is that it doesn't stop there. This book has far more depth to it than those few checkboxes suggest.

So. Yes, this is a spice m/m romance with plenty of humour, some of it self-deprecating but most of it loving. It is a story about cheating but please don't be put off for it is key to the unfolding of Jude and and Cash's romance. A relationship that begins as the brother-in-law coming to stay and becomes so much more. Becomes a relationship that reveals truths neither was expecting and leads to one of the best endings I have had the joy to discover!

Cash had a sports scholarship until injury put an end to it and has now accumulated a considerable amount of debt. This is what Linda, his sister and Jude's wife has told Jude and is the reason Cash is about to lodge with them. Cash is really not that concerned, he tells himself. He has a novel to write and writers block to overcome. This changes the moment he meets Cash, then when he sees Cash in his swim trunks, finds the inspiration for his story and so much more.

Cash most definitely has ulterior motives when he sets out to intentionally seduce Jude. He wants revenge and to make his sister pay. He is surprised that Jude knows Linda is cheating on him but more so that Jude won't act on it. So, his plans may change slightly but then his heart seems to want in on the game and it all goes a little awry. Enter Jude's best friend and Frat house brother Logan (who I love as a character and who needs his own story - please)! Well from there I had a non-stop grin on my face...

I loved 'When He's A 10...' it truly is a unique story and so full of heart (and heat) that I was feeling as though mine would burst by the time I came to the end. This book is a keeper and a must-read.
