Complete with never-before seen photos and insider information, this is the interesting story of Twain's life, beginning with her roots in poverty, and ending with the dedication to music which led to success. Reprint.
I see few people even read this book, but I did like it. It’s decently written, well researched and does give a lot of insight into her life and her music. I learned a lot about how music is sold, actually. I’d have liked more depth on her childhood, but I see it might not be possible. I found this a nice read to take my mind off things as we entered the fourth year of the covid pandemic. Granted, it’s dated and a lot has happened since. It could use a rewrite with new information.
