I loved meeting this author at a vendor event! She was kind and eager to talk about her books.
This read is a cozy, light hearted mystery with a tiny bit of romance. I’m a huge romance lover myself and would have loved to see that play more of a role, but that is more attributable to my personal preference. The writing is fun and easy to follow! The twists were intriguing and I can honestly say I’ll be reading the second book! Maybe there will be some romance development in those!
Meet the writer at LA's Vegas reader nation. And bought this and the second book. I really enjoyed this book. If you want a a cozy mystery give this a try!
It’s sad when an author can’t keep track of things like lost and found gloves. There were way too many tea breaks. I don’t recall ever reading a story where making, brewing, serving or drinking tea was practically on every other page. Some things were never resolved. Character characteristics were not disclosed until the last quarter of the book. Hire an editor for the next book.
The ending to this book was incredibly satisfying, and that’s all the spoilers you’ll get out of me.
The characters are so relatable if you’ve ever lived in a small town. There are music puns galore and honestly it’s clever how music is used throughout the story especially in solving the mystery.
I’m excited to read the rest of the series. Also I’m #TeamNick Let’s see if I stay that way.
I liked how quickly I was brought into Tabitha's world. I felt worry for the girls, and sad about Claire. I wonder, for future books, if Tabitha and Nick will go anywhere. All in all, I loved the book.
I could not put this book down! I was immediately hooked and the author did an amazing job, bringing each character into the storyline and building their relationship. I cannot wait for the next book. A most definite recommend for a cozy mystery!
I can't remember the last time a book made me laugh out loud as much as this cozy mystery did. Tabitha and Libby's budding friendship was wonderfully crafted, and I couldn't help but wish I could join their misadventures and become one of their new besties. The writing style is engaging and effortless, making it easy to get lost in the story. I can't wait to read the author's next book so I can see where Tabitha and Libby's adventures take them next!
