All I want for Christmas is to be left alone.
Instead, a beautiful, bubbly brunette lands on my cabin’s doorstep after a snowstorm hits Mistletoe Creek, Tennessee. Rose is determined to make the best of this. I’m just hoping to survive her intrusion.
Making matters worse? I only have one bed.
We’re two grown adults. We can share a bed without things getting steamy, right?
Wrong.
The longer I spend with Rose, the longer I hope it takes to clear the bridge. And not just because I like her in my bed.
But the snow is melting, which means her days with me are numbered. So now I have a new problem—try and convince this beauty to stay, or let her slip away forever.

DNF @ 34%. Unfortunately this just didn’t work for me. The writing wasn’t great with things like “ummmm” and “OMG” being part of the dialogue which made the writing feel juvenile. The MMC is rude and the FMC has no boundaries and came off entitled (telling the MMC he’ll have to sleep on the couch because she refuses and will be taking his bed??).

There were a few other things that just felt off. For one, the FMC was worried about making a long distance call, but the book is modern. Second, the MMC was confused about how she knew about sledding given she grew up in Georgia. Like…what? It’s not like it’s some hidden secret. I gave up at that point.

This book was such a delight!! It has all the tropes that I love..one bed, snowed in and grumpy/sunshine. Pierce is a grump. He was never expecting to spend his Christmas with a beautiful woman or fall in love. He was content with being alone until Rose. Rose with her vibrant personality and charm got him out of his comfort zone. She was looking forward to spending time with family and her new sister in law but fate stepped in and gave her so much more!! I loved Rose and Pierce together so much!! I will say this book may be short but it packs a punch on the steam level!! I was not expecting all that it had especially tables breaking!! Lol.

Rose Adler gets a flat tire while driving during a snow storm, trudges her way to a beautiful log home, and gets the door slammed in her face for her efforts. Not a great start, especially since the only road out of Mistletoe Creek, TN, is blocked.

Instead of making it home for Christmas with her family, Rose is stuck with Grumpy McScrooge, aka Pierce Adams. Pierce just wants to be left alone. He doesn’t want to have to share his home and his only bed with a vibrant, bubbly stranger.

What a fun, Christmassy read! Our grumpy Scrooge has his reasons for wanting to be alone, but it’s not too long before he begins to hope it will take longer than predicted for the road out of town to be cleared. These two are completely wrong for each other but so perfect together. Full of humor, heart, steam, and holiday cheer, this is just the thing to fill you with Christmas spirit!

I loved the newest holiday romance from Claire Hastings. From the moment Rose lands on Pierce's doorstep in the midst of a snowstorm, I was hooked and wanted nothing more than to be snowed in with my own grumpy sexy man.

All Snowed Gin manages to blend together all the things that I love about a good holiday romance: a grumpy/sunshine relationship, only one bed, movie nights cuddling on the couch and sensual cooking that leads to oh so steamy sex. I also loved that Hickory Hills finds its way to Mistletoe Creek and deep down I'm keeping my fingers crossed that we eventually see more characters from Mistletoe Creek going forward.

For those who are looking for the perfect novella to help warm up the cold darker winter nights ahead, definitely add All Snowed Gin to you TBR.

Grumpy Pierce is about to meet his match with Rose!! She arrives on his door step in the lead up to Christmas after her car breaks down...only to end up snowed in. Some familiar characters scattered throughout the book. Loved the bonus chapter! Highly recommend.

Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐.5 (4.5/5)

"All Snowed Gin" is a delightful holiday romance that seamlessly blends cosiness, a touch of smut, and adorable moments. Set against a winter wonderland backdrop, this book is a perfect read for the Christmas season.

The plot revolves around a classic "instant-love" scenario, where the protagonists find themselves unexpectedly snowed in together. The author skillfully weaves a heartwarming tale with charming characters and festive vibes. The Christmas season is the ideal backdrop for the story, adding an extra layer of magic to the narrative.

The writing style is engaging, and the pacing is just right, making it an enjoyable and quick read. The author's ability to create a cosy atmosphere adds to the overall charm of the book. The smutty elements are tastefully incorporated, adding a hint of spice without overshadowing the romantic and festive elements of the plot.

The characters are well-developed and endearing, making it easy for readers to connect with them. Their chemistry is palpable, and the instant-love aspect is handled with a certain finesse that doesn't feel forced. The reader will likely find themselves rooting for the couple from the beginning.

While the book may follow some familiar romance tropes, it does so with a fresh and enjoyable twist, making it a standout in the genre. "All Snowed In" is a perfect escape for those looking for a feel-good, romantic read during the holiday season. Overall, it is a highly recommended book that successfully captures the spirit of Christmas in a charming and heartwarming way.

❄️ holiday romance

All Snowed Gin is a Christmas novella that will have you groveling for more!

Synopsis
Rose and Pierce met after Rose gets a flat tire while driving through the mountains of Tennessee. She’s miles away from town with no cell service during an impending snow storm. She walks to the closest house to use the phone only to be greeted by a grumpy broody handsome man. After using the phone she’s told the bridge is out and he’ll be days before someone can make it to her. She’ll miss Christmas with her family and spend time alone with this broody stranger. Can they make the best out of the situation they’ve been dealit?

I really enjoyed this book. Pierce is your typical grumpy baa humbug male that doesn’t want to celebrate Christmas. He’s hiding some guilt after his grandparents' deaths. Rose is cheery but stubborn and won’t let a little car trouble and a grumpy man ruin her Christmas. She decides to make the best of her situation. Spending more and more time with Rose you can see and feel Pierce loosening up and having fun.

I love the chemistry between the two of them is perfection. From cooking together, to sledding and movie night it’s 🔥. You can feel the love unfolding between them. They shared a lot of laughs together as well as a deeper connection throughout the story. Even though it was a novella it didn’t seem rushed or like there were missing pieces. It came together nicely. A perfect Hallmark Christmas movie (novella)

𝐀𝐥𝐥 𝐒𝐧𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐝 𝐆𝐢𝐧 by Claire Hastings, part of the Mistletoe Crees series, is Pierce and Rose's story.

Pierce wants nothing more than to be alone so when a firey woman lands on his doorstep with a flat tire in the middle of a snowstorm, he is forced to let her ride out the storm. Little does he realize that she is what he needs to thaw his heart.

An overall enjoyable read. I enjoyed how Rose was able to lighten up Pierce's world and bring him some joy over the holidays. I found that both Pierce and Rose were a little too much for me and struggled with their connection.

Get ready for… small town | forced proximity | only one bed | grumpy/sunshine | opposites attract | age gap | holiday | first-person (dual)

Be mindful that this book contains topics that may be triggering to some readers.

A heartfelt grumpy/sunshine romance, All Snowed Gin gives readers a little bit of everything. Rose manages to thaw Pierces closely guarded heart amidst a blizzard that left her stranded in the middle of nowhere and seeking refuge from the only house in sight. Rose just wants to have a cozy Christmas with her loved ones and Pierce wants to enjoy his solitude and stew in his grief. Rose breathes joy back into his life, with her playfulness and Pierce falls under her spell. But this situation can only breed heartache because eventually the road will be clear and her life in Georgia will be calling her home.

This book has forced proximity, spice, a beauty and the beast feel, and some good old home brewing.

I really enjoyed Rose as a FMC. She has a very youthful quality that had me reminiscing about snow covered winters. But she’s not aloof and is very in tune with Pierce and his grief and his protectiveness of his space.

Pierce really made me angry in the beginning. But he quickly won me over when he begins to settle down and realize that Rose isn’t out to ruin the memories attached to the house and its contents.

Mistletoe Creek meets Beauty and the Beast in this adorable Christmas tale. Pierce, the initially closed-off and grumpy beast, thaws as he encounters the radiant Rose. Stranded together for the holidays due to a snowstorm blocking the mountain's only route, the covered bridge, these two opposites find themselves reluctantly sharing the season.

Pierce, a self-proclaimed Scrooge, clashes with Rose, who adores everything about Christmas. Determined not to let Pierce dampen her holiday spirit, Rose embarks on a mission to crack his tough exterior. Amidst laughter, a generous dose of spice, and heartwarming moments in this brief read, she succeeds in unraveling the layers of Pierce's guarded heart.

As the narrative unfolds, there's a poignant moment close to the end that I won't spoil, but I can't help but mention Pierce's special name for his gin. For a delightful and spicy Christmas read, make sure to include this charming story in your festive book list!

Rose drove to the mountains from Georgia right before Christmas to get a picture of the beer she sells in the snow. Pierce is a recluse that has shut himself away from the world because of his grief over losing his family. She gets stuck in a snow storm and his mountain home is the only place to go. She knocks on his door and he slams it in her face. (Which I loved the subversion of the instalove trope). Anyway they are snowed in and he makes gin as a hobby. Rose helps Pierce learn to love again. They sled and cook together. Cute couple. So the third act breakup landed a bit awkward for me. Like really, you two successful adult people couldn’t have worked out a solution before the breakup? But it is a quick and enjoyable read. The characters have enough complexity that you want to spend time with them. And honestly Claire Hastings has a knack for putting witty words in her characters’ mouths.

Received this as an ARC. It's part of the mutli-author series Mistletoe Creek.

Absolutely loved Rose and Pierce! They fell hard and fast for each other. As soon Pierce stopped being a grump, that is. A few tropes you'll find are grumpy/sunshine, forced proximity, and one bed.

Rose gets stranded after getting a flat tire, and the only house around is Pierce's. Pierce is grumpy and just wants to be alone. He doesn't like the holiday season at all while Rose loves it. He does finally warm up to her, and that's when the magic and spice happen. They're both sad when her tire is finally fixed, and it's her time to go, but I don't want to spoil too much. 😉

I loved this book! I loved that Rose was from the Hickory Hills series! It was nice to visit there again, albeit briefly. Definitely 5 stars from me! And definitely make sure to download and read the bonus scene!

Another cute and sexy holiday novella from Claire Hastings.

Rose just wanted to make a quick stop on the way home from a business trip. She just didn't expect one event after another to leave her stranded in a mountain cabin during a storm with a grumpy stranger. Especially over Christmas.

When Pierce Adams finally opens his front door to the banging he isn't expecting a stranded motorist. And he doesn't care how desperate she is, he isn't in the mood for company. When she refuses to let up Pierce finally lets her in.

It's quickly clear that Rose sees something in Pierce he hasn't even been able to see in himself for almost a year. It seems she's also able to thaw his frozen heart, and Pierce suddenly realizes he's finding pleasure in life again, and also pleasure in the form of a stunning brunette that won't give up.

I received an ARC and freely offer this review.

Cute Christmas novella that will put you in the Christmas spirit!

What to expect:
Forced proximity/ one bed
Grumpy/ sunshine
Age gap
Opposites attract
Insta-love
Great banter
Small town
Beauty and the Beast vibes
Christmas romance

Pierce doesn't want anything to do with Christmas after the loss of his family but he couldn't resist Rose! She is so spunky and wasn't interested in letting a flat tire and a grumpy stranger ruin it for her! These characters are well written and you can't help but want to see them together! And even though they spent very little time together we could see the relationship strengthen enough to believe it could last forever. If you want a spicy hallmark book with a touch of a fairy tale this is a must read! And don't forget the other books in the Mistletoe Creek series! This is my first one but I can't wait to read the rest!

What a terrific, grumpy/sunshine holiday novella that will have you smiling and laughing. Imagine being stranded in the Mistletoe Creek with a flat tire so close to Christmas. Well, that is the story that Ms. Hastings gives us this holiday. She tells us about Rose, a warm and bubbly woman who only wants to get home for Christmas, but it seems life has other plans for her. Those plans include a grumpy man, Pierce, who lives in a beautiful cabin in the mountains, a flat tire, and a bridge that was taken out by the snowstorm. All Pierce wants is to be left alone and not have this woman in his space. With their forced proximity and attraction that they seem to be fighting, the more time they spend together the hotter, the sparks fly.
I would recommend picking up All Snowed Gin and having a wonderful time with Rose and Pierce.

When Rose gets a flat and ends up at Pierce’s front door the last thing she expects is a beautiful grumpy man slamming the door in her face. Pierce is still haunted by the passing of his grandparents and only wants to be left alone especially during this holiday season, but when Rose shows up on his doorstep he is stunned by her and yet his grumpiness takes over. When it becomes clear that Rose is completely stranded at Pierce’s house can she break through his grumpy facade and show him that Christmas is truly a magical time of year? Rose was a delight and refused to let Pierce’s mood affect her situation and she secretly wanted to break him out of his funk, but her time there is limited and their attraction is off the charts. Will this beastly grump find sunshine and happiness in this amazing beauty or will he be left alone with his broodiness? I loved this story and I have went back to read it several times because it was so easy to fall in love with Pierce’s grumpy self.

Are you looking for a grumpy/sunshine romance just in time for the holidays? Lover of the one bed trope? If so, you will love this sweet (yet 🌶🌶🌶) Christmas romance, All Snowed Gin!

Rose is absolutely a ray of sunshine, and she finds herself in a snowy pickle where only Pierce, the grump of Mistletoe Creek, can help. Pierce quickly realizes that no matter how grumpy he tries to be, he can't fight off the feelings he is quickly developing for Rose, who finds herself falling just as fast. Yet, when the time comes and Rose's car is all fixed-up, neither of them want to say goodbye.

I enjoyed the chemistry between Rose and Pierce, and loved their HEA ending ❤️ I definitely recommend cozying up in your favorite reading spot and downloading All Snowed Gin this holiday season!!

In the latest addition to the captivating Mistletoe Creek series, Claire Hastings produces a heartwarming delicious novella, with the grumpy yet irresistibly attractive Pierce and the wonderful Rose.

With her trademark romantic flair, Ms Hastings also managed to mix a little bit of the wonderful Hickory Hills into the storyline, creating a winning combination that had me hooked. When Rose’s car unexpectedly breaks down, leaving her stranded and snowed in with the enigmatic Pierce, the stage is set for a romantic escapade that sizzles with undeniable chemistry. The sparks between them ignite into a blazing flame, adding depth and intensity to this holiday tale.

All Snowed Gin is an ideal choice for those seeking a heartwarming story to cosy up to during the festive season.

When a flat tire grounds Rose on her way to Mistletoe Creek she can't believe it. She knows that her car should be running fine, but lucky her she knows how to change a tire and with the storm coming she knows she needs to hurry. However, things don't work her way and she finds herself walking through the freezing snow to a loan house. Something else that shocks her is getting the door slammed in her face by a handsome man who refuses to help her. Pierce Adams is Scrooge personified. He is secluded for a reason and does not want anyone bothering him. When a knock at his door comes well he's less than hospitable. Now he's about to help the stranger Rose and well sparks will fly and these two will banter and show you what love could be like. With Pierce's past though can he move forward and love and protect Rose before it's too late? Loved this story so much.

Beauty and the Beast?

Pierce does a fantastic impression of the Beast when he opens his door, but like Beauty, Rose does not cower. She lets her sassy spirit free and stands her ground, bullying her way through his very high walls and worming her way into his very tender heart.
Pierce is like a wounded animal, snapping at anyone who comes close, trying to isolate himself and avoid any more pain, he has no idea what has hit him when the whirlwind that is Rose crashes into his life, but I really like the Pierce who slowly emerges, sharing heartwarming memories and embracing making new. The love they find may be unexpected but it is still beautiful and explosive.
A sweet yet sassy read on Kindle Unlimited.

There are no words to describe how much I loved this book! As my first snowed in romance, I was nervous I wasn't going to like it. However that was not the case, AT. ALL. I feel like loved it doesn't even cover it. Pierce, locking himself in that mountain cabin with his grief, alone and grumpy, a recluse. Rose, a beauty who's personality shines like sunlight. Separate, they don't seem like they'd work, especially after he closes the door in her face. But together, they more than work, they shine, they complete each other in a way, us readers, usually just dream about. I devoured this book cover to cover, and was sad to reach the end. I will forever recommend this book. If any of this review interested you, this book is for you, don't pass it by.

If you love a little holiday magic with a dash of spicy 🌶️
then this book is for you!

We start by meeting Kenzie who has a wildly free personality, living for the joys of the holidays. 🎄
Followed by Pierce the grumpy, recluse who just wants to get past the holidays.

As fate may be intervening…….Kenzie is forced on to the doorstep of Pierces home in the middle of nowhere, as a storm takes hold. 🏠

As the situation unfolds and they are now waiting out the storm together, will they learn to deal with each other personalities or loath the entire situation.

This is a quick, but fun read if you need some holiday cheer!!!

I love any chance to get a glimpse at some Hickory Hills characters (especially while not so patiently waiting for Noel’s book next!).

This was a fun holiday novella. Rose gets stranded with a flat tire and knocks on the only house she can see for help. She is met by grumpy Pierce who is not happy about the intrusion at all. It was fun to see Pierce forced out of his comfort zone with all of Rose’s sunshiny attitude. They were an adorable instalove and I hope to see them hanging around Hickory Hills!

This was such a fun and spicy holiday novella! Claire really brought all of my favorite tropes to the table in this one. One bed, grumpy sunshine and broody MC. Pierce and Rose meet unexpectedly when her car breaks down and they get snowed in.

The story really was great and heartwarming. I loved seeing inside Pierces hard exterior and I loved seeing how he took care of Rose. Rose is this fiery confident girl and i really liked her character. The story was really well written and the smüt was so smutty and I was here for it 🥵😅 if you’re interested in a holiday novella you should def read this!

Pierce was all set to spend the holiday alone, when there is someone knocking on the door. It is a cheery beautiful woman on his doorstep, with a snowstorm bearing down. When they call the tow truck, they find out it will be days to clear the bridge. Now he is stuck with her in a house that has very little furniture, just one bed.

Rose is not happy with having to stay with the rudest man ever, she wants to get home to her family for Christmas. The longer she stays with him, she learns there is more to him than the first impression. His attitude is masking some pain.

Will this just be a holiday fling or can it be more?

This was rough… I didn't like Rose's personality at all. She came off very entitled, she demanded a bed,(I understand the couch is not great but still a place to sleep), she went through his food and kitchen just making whatever she wanted without second thought to rationing, she went through the garage not once but twice for snow clothes and snowman decorations. She took his kayak without even looking for an actual sled to go sledding. She was just so entitled at the beginning,it made me not like Rose at all. And I just felt like they didnt really have any chemistry except their sexual attraction to each other.
And the meatball scene 🤢🤮

This is a fun short read.

A Christmas novella about what happens when two strangers are snowed into together for the holidays.

I love these characters. They were fun and had great chemistry. Their banter together made the whole book. This is a novella so it did seem a little insta love since they were only together 2-3 days but it worked in this book.

Fun and steamy holiday read

Grumpy/sunshine, snowed-in, one bed, forced proximity. All fun tropes combined swiftly and smoothly to make a delightful holiday read. And I have the let’s make grandma’s meatballs scene embedded in my brain and it just about melted my Kindle. I enjoyed the attraction and chemistry between Pierce and Rose, yet it was the emotional connection that warmed my heart. Fun, steamy, and touching, this is a great holiday read! I received an arc of this book, and this is my honest review.
