Justice League #13 – “The Secret of Cheetah”

The League faces a new challenge not from space or gods, but from one of Wonder Woman’s most personal enemies — Cheetah. Johns refocuses the story on Diana, showing how her compassion and warrior ethos collide when Barbara Minerva, once her friend, becomes the predator. The tone feels like a myth retold in modern times — primal, tragic, and beautifully violent. The dynamic between Diana and Clark also deepens, hinting at the emotional connections that will shape future arcs. Tony Daniel’s art gleams — fluid, fierce, and full of jungle energy.

In this story arc, Barbara is cursed by a blade from a tribe that converts her to Cheetah and as the story progresses, she somehow defeats the Justice League as she took them by surprise. In the end, she bites Superman and he is cursed.
