About the author

Rosaria is a former tenured professor of English at Syracuse University. After her conversion to Christianity in 1999, she developed a ministry to college students. She has taught and ministered at Geneva College and is a full-time mother and pastor's wife, part-time author, and occasional speaker.

Some of the questions in this study guide are open-ended, but many of them lead the reader to a prepackaged conclusion. This supplemental guide reinforces the author's points from the book, but doesn't really help people use their critical thinking skills. Also, even when there is a very thoughtful question, there isn't much space to write your answer. There are typically only a few blank lines after each question, even when someone is supposed to reflect on their experiences.
