I came across this book by accident. It'll be one that I'll never forget... read it a year after Matthew Perry's death. It brought me to tears, it gave me insight into addiction, and the will to live as Matthew Perry tried to do when overcoming his childhood traumas, addictions and fight to live.
An eye opening look at addiction of a beloved character. I appreciated his honesty and the fact he gave back to the community. He expressed his fame as something he hated and wishes away. Ironically, fame was also his biggest life achievement. It just shows you can have all the money in the world, it can’t buy happiness or sobriety.
