Swift's Gulliver's Travels

Rate this book
A consciously funny book of travel, adventure, and caricature, Swift sets out to lampoon the conceits and puffery of people with stories of abominable behavior. Swift's book about a man lost at sea who encounters many strange lands is both a social commentary and a children's classic in its abridged form.

I still can't believe I picked up another of these; but I have to admit that although the previous one I read helped me get a quick introduction to its actual book, this one was more of a waste of time: it was extremely redundant and I feel like I could have rather watched some television. That might have been more helpful, lol.
