A great resource for teaching character traits to your young children! I think it is designed for preschoolers, but I used it with my boys when they were 3, 6, and 8. It kept everyone's attention. We are now using the next book in the series titled Character Trails (designed for kindergarten-3rd grade), and so far, I love it!

Some tips:
*The Scripture verses are in the King James. If you prefer a translation that is easier to understand, just grab your Bible and read the verses out of it instead.
*The stories seemed to focus on the girls more than the boys. My boys didn't mind though.
*The first story is about obedience. The definition it uses for obedience is "Doing what is expected of me cheerfully, immediately, and thoroughly." My kids got hung up on the big words, so we used the definition for obedience that we had already been using in our house: "Doing what you're told to do all the way, right away, and with a good attitude."
*The character definitions get easier after that! Examples below.
Patience: Waiting with a happy heart
Respectfulness: Treating others with honor
