Carra Copelin is an award winning and Amazon Best Selling Author in contemporary and historical romances but, unlike so many other authors, she didn't write from childhood or read long into the night beneath the covers with a flashlight. She found writing and romance novels as an adult. After reading numerous Harlequin and Silhouette stories, she discovered tons of people residing in her head, all looking for a way to get their stories onto the printed page. She is a member of The Daughters of the American Revolution and The Daughters of the Republic of Texas. Carra and her hero live in North Central Texas, in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex where they enjoy family and their three beautiful grandchildren. In addition to writing and researching with her fabulous critique partners, she enjoys playing Bridge, working on crochet projects, and tracking down relatives through genealogy.

Another Wonderful Story by the Awesome, talented author Carra Copelin!! Mrs Copelin can weave some truly amazing characters and stories. Morgan Grant has never given much thought to marrying that is until he rescues a high society English lady who is down on her luck and at the moment Morgan meets her she is being accosted in a not so friendly way by a drunk. Lady Anne is of a rebellious spirt which lands her penniless in Texas. From there the story takes off with Great speed. This truly was a nice sweet short Novella that was worth the couple hrs to read. It was so good in fact I would have gladly sat and read a full length novel of the story. 5 stars once again to Carra Copelin!!

Something different

If you follow this series, the only thing in common with the other books is Elizabeth Tandy matchmaking a bride. It is a perfect book of you are looking for a standalone read. It is also the great story of a new series. I love how the author have the history of the Beaumont oil boom before the story.
When Lady Anne arrives in Beaumont she finds out her intended has died. Will she be able to smooth out the rough edges of the cowboy deputy that has offered to marry her? Will he ever get past her snootiness? And what happens when someone from her past in England shows up? I look forward to reading more from the new series.
