Code War: An environmental AI gone wrong...or has it?

Hello, and thanks for reading Code War. Please let me know your thoughts in the comments, especially if you want to see more in this world. This may turn into a series or novella down the road. There are interesting characters, scenes, and tales from Mark and Jose's tribe that are worth telling. And, of course, there is a grand adventure waiting for us after this short story's end. For now, I’ve enjoyed exploring the Code War world of an AI gone wrong…or has it?

Follow along as Jose and Mark discover a long-hidden bunker full of old technology and a corpse with a message from beyond the grave. Many of the best stories involve corpses and collapsed civilizations. Mark, our tech superstitious scavenger is in it for the possibility of food but Jose, Jose knows there is more to life than avoiding the ELF and ZIP forces. That maybe not everything is infected with the code. Or is it?
