My 7yo son absolutely loved this book. We started reading it at bedtime and he was eager to know the ending he started reading on his own during the day!

It kept him engaged from beginning to end - rooting for Supa dupa kid in every battle and laughing along with their little banter.

Highly recommend! I’m here on Goodreads looking for more.

I thought it would have more action. But I would give it 100 stars if I could.

When Javon is fighting over his umbrella with the neighborhood bully named Hoody, the two are struck by lightning. When he wakes up a few weeks later, he discovers he has super powers.

Excited with his new abilities, Javon becomes the Supadupa Kid with the help of his genius best friend. This fun, superhero origin story is a delightful read. It has realistic characters and exciting action.

Kids 8 to 12 will love this action-packed adventure!
