Whewww chileee, this was a fantastic read! I enjoyed the story from beginning to end. Elijah just couldn’t do what his daddy told him 🤦🏾‍♀️ but oh babyyyy he finna come through & shake some 💩 up! I would love to see more of Smoke, I am very intrigued by that man. One thing about it, Smoke & Dame are very loyal to John & I genuinely don’t see Elijah coming out on top after all of this. Especially if Ziggy & Gabriel tryna get him touched too 😅

This is the type of book that I enjoy reading!! Give me all the mayhem and plot twists! I literally could not reading.. the loyalty Dame and Smoke had, must be studied!! They had John’s back from the inside and out! Now, Elijah….. he tried too hard, and ruined everything! The book would have been a 5 star read but it had quite a few errors. It did not take away my reading enjoyment, I still had a good ole time. I am running to book two!

Black Cartel Kings is a pretty middle of the road urban fiction story to me. I wasn't really a fan of any of the characters and I did not like the writing style. The best parts of the book take place at the end, but the story ends with an unexpected cliffhanger. Since I wasn't invested in the characters, I won't be reading book 2...which sucks for me.

Yooooo this book has me sooooooo hype right now. I got this free and wasn’t going to read it but the cover just spoke to me and boy. The Carter’s are too much but my adrenaline is on high i suggest you just download and start reading.

Elijah was pissing me off the ENTIRE book. Like dude why can you not just do as you're told???
I was hoping the whole time he would get killed or worse.
But overall I liked the book. I literally couldn't put it down.
