setelah sempat mati suri, Antropologi menemukan semangatnya kembali setelah melakukan pendefinisian ulang fokus kajian studinya. buku ini adalah demonstrasi optimisme kajian Antropologi masa depan, yang melihat arus transaksi dan komunikasi dalam bingkai globalisasi sebagai lokus penelitian budaya kontemporer.

Excellent selection of essays. Some are heavy on the theory and others blend more ethnographic data.
