I’ve been voted Mr. Perfect Cheeks for the last five years. Though I do have a nice smile, it’s not those cheeks that warrant the attention. So yeah, my behind is my bread and butter. But when my most lucrative asset is injured, I’m sent to the set medic. To say I fall head over derriere in love with her is an understatement. Cute and perfectly fine. All the usual instalove meet-cute shenanigans. I wasn't really down for the premise of this and therefore didn't believe whole-heartedly in their love.

Maxine and Andrew's Story . . .
The bad thing about movies is that it shows you perfect love, but once the credits roll, the real world reminds you that no such thing exists. Maxine Sawyer’s family members all work in the film industry: her grandfather (movie producer and President of the company), uncles (all producers), her dad (a director), her mom (movie starlet), and her cousins (also actors). In her opinion, all vain and self-centered. So she went to medical school. Her grandfather eventually cut her off, however, because she made him angry and her figure did not meet his standards. She has become disgusted with the whole thing. But when she can’t complete her next semester in medical school due to lack of funds, she takes a temporary job during winter break that a friend was able to get for her as medic on the set of a movie. One of the guys, a body double named Andrew, asked for a date and she flatly turns him down. The director had called her over to help with a scene they couldn’t get right. Maxine was sassy the entire time and Andrew loved every minute of it. He had to press her against the wall for the scene where he had rescued her from falling boxes. Being so close, he decided to go ahead and kiss her and she responded! But the director’s laugh angered her and she kneed him in a sensitive area and hurried off. The director told him to use ice, but he said he would go to the medic, bringing the director to more laughter as he told Andrew that Maxine was the medic!
Maxine can’t stop thinking about Andrew’s fantastic kiss and his sexy Texan accent. Still, she tries to avoid him as much as possible. She has spilled coffee all over her pants and was just ready to put on her scrubs when he came through the door of her medic trailer, bleeding from an injury at the top of his “posterior”. She calls a plastic surgeon friend who agrees to meet them at his apartment after work. Spending time with him while they wait, he actually seems like an okay guy that maybe she misjudged. The next day, his family arrived and she scurried back to his room to finish getting dressed. Misunderstanding something she accidently heard, thinking he called her a “narwhal” without her even knowing what it means, makes her ready to dump him in an instant. Will she believe her long-held distrust of people in the movie industry who are never sincere? Or will she believe what her heart tells her about him?

Kat Baxter’s books are consistently good ! You know when you start it that you're in for a fun, sweet, steamy story! This one was no exception!
Maxine is basically Hollywood royalty. She's not the typical dainty/petite blond - she has dark hair and curves ! Max has become pretty cynical from growing up in the industry and being surrounded by the fakeness of it all. She turns her back on her family legacy and decides to become a doctor. One day Grampa comments on her size, makes her upset, she lashes back & he cuts off her money for school. So Max starts working as a movie set medic.
Andrew is a gorgeous small-town Texas guy that has a money-maker a$$. He's a butt-double for Hollywood's leading men. Andrew has seen Max around & he has insta-lust for her gorgeous curves! One day he gets screwed on set, like - he literally has a hole in his butt! So, he visits Max for medical assistance. Andrew is freaked by the sight of blood, he needs stitches, one Xanax later, he is 'cheekier' than usual and he manages to charm Maxine enough to believe he really is serious about wanting her.
Other than timing, and the cover, there really isn’t much about the holiday season in this book, but that's ok.
I definitely recommend this to anyone who loves Kat Baxter’s ability to write a fun read with a sweet HEA

I thoroughly enjoyed A Very Cheeky Christmas by Kat Baxter. The story was fun and light-hearted, with just the right amount of steamy romance to keep things interesting. The characters were well-developed and relatable, and I found myself rooting for them throughout the book. The writing was engaging and kept me hooked from start to finish. Overall, I would definitely recommend this book to anyone looking for a fun and flirty holiday romance.

Meeting such a persistent, soulful and hard in all the right places
man, makes everything seem possible.
Even fall in love with him although you don't believe such thing exists.

WOW!! Fab*u*lous Absolutely love this one!! I couldn't put this one down. This was a nice quick, short read.
Andrew is the stunt double, Maxine is the medic for the film. Maxine’s family is Hollywood royalty, but she was cut off by her grandfather for saying something back to him. Maxine doesn’t want to be in the film business, she is gong to school to be a doctor. Maxine takes a semester off so she can earn money for school, that is why she is on the film set. When Andrew is trying to play through a scene he gets Maxine to help him. Andrew tells her she has a perfect body Maxine thinks he’s giving her a line. Maxine kicks Andrew in the balls after kissing her. Max has a terrible morning and forgets her ID and spilling coffee on herself. When Maxine finally gets to her trailer she is changing her clothes when Andrew comes busting in with blood on a cloth. Andrew was injured on set, someone gave him a Xanax to calm him down. After Maxine cleans him up then looks at Andrew's medical record. Maxine calls Shayla her friend who’s a plastic surgeon. Shayla tells Max she’ll be over after work to look at it, but Maxine needs to keep an eye on him. They head to his place and fall asleep in bed together. They get up and get food and Max finds out her friend Shayla will be over on her lunch. Shayla arrives and stitches Andrew up and gives him a shot, she tells Maxine she needs to stay with him for twenty four hours, and then leaves. Maxine thinks about Andrew's offer to sleep with him. Andrew tells her they can take it as slow as she wants. They head to the bedroom, kiss and pleasure each other. Maxine stays in his bed all night waking up and do it all over again. When they wake in the morning, Andrew's making her breakfast, he gets a call from his family, Maxine hurries to get dressed. Maxine hears his conversation with his family, he calls her a narwhal. Maxine is so angry, she tells him she's needed on set and leaves. Andrew finds her two hours later, Maxine tells him what she heard him say about her to his family. Andrew explains to her what it actually means. Andrew finds out she is Heiress to Lionheart Productions. Andrew doesn’t care he tells her he loves her and Maxine tells him she loves him too. New Year’s Eve they finish up the move and it’s the big cast party. Maxine moved in with him, and Andrew finds her getting ready. Andrew tells her how beautiful she looks. Andrew tells her he has two things for her. Maxine closes her eyes and when she opens them he is down on one knee and asks her to marry him, she says yes. Andrew tells her he found a grant for her at University of Texas medical school it covers the cost of her tuition and fees she just has to work at a clinic in Texas for six years. Andrew tells her one of the clinic is in Saddle Creek. Maxine kisses him and tells him she's shocked no one has ever help her like this. A few years later, Maxine is told she has a walk in patient in one of her rooms. Maxine is the main doctor in Saddle Creek now, and it's never boring. Maxine shares a practice with Doctor West Doctor's Orders. Maxine finds her husband and her daughter sitting on the table, she asks them what they're doing. Andrew points to his throat and tells her their daughter karate chopped him, and it hurts. Maxine examines her husband and tells him he'll be fine. Maxine tells Andrew if he wanted to play doctor all he had to do was ask. Maxine tells him she needs to do one more test, so he needs to be quiet. Andrew asks her if she's going to be naughty, Maxine tells him yes. Maxine pleasures him, Andrew tells her he loves her. Andrew has changed Maxine's life, he taught her so much about love.

This book follows Maxine & Andrew.. You will find Doctor/Body Double, Sassy Hero/Curvy women, Hero is a sunshine and the Heroine is a grump, Heroine has not had much love in her life from her family so she does not believe in love, Once hero sees the heroine he does everything to show her what real love is like..
Maxine is wanting to become a full time doctor but because her grandfather she gets cut off from the family money and she now works at a movie set as the doctor to pay for her doctor courses.. Her family does not treat her right and tells her she does not look right for the family image.. I am glad she is away from her family and has a close friend called Shayla.. It was sad to read that she does not believe in love until she meets Andrew
Andrew is a Body double but he is thinking that he needs more like finding someone special to love and have a family.. He is from a small town in Texas and has a family that he loves.. Una lectura rápida que tiene sus momentos de humor y picante pero con poca navidad.

•Esta destinada a ser un descargo personal no para que alguien más lea pero si lo haces y te ofende, me disculpo porque sé lo que es que te guste un libro y otros lo critiquen.

Argumento:
Me han votado como el Sr. Mejillas Perfectas durante los últimos cinco años. Aunque tengo una linda sonrisa, no son esas mejillas las que merecen la atención. Así que sí, mi trasero es mi pan de cada día. Pero cuando mi activo más lucrativo se lesiona, me envían al médico del set. Decir que me enamoro perdidamente de ella es quedarse corto. Sin embargo, Maxine está hastiada del amor, así que necesitaré todo mi encanto de pueblo pequeño de Texas para cortejar a esta gruñona californiana con curvas que soy, para ganar. Y con eso, me refiero a ella.
Mi humilde opinión:
A very cheeky christmas comenzó bien, me interesaba lo que pasaría en el set de filmación con la chica con curvas de ciudad y el chico encantador de Texas, me reí unas cuantas veces con lo del doble de traseros. El protagonista cae primero y dijo e hizo todas las cosas correctas para Andrew encontró en Maxine el amor de su vida pero…
No me emocionó tanto el amor a primera vista, creí que vería a Andrew conquistar a Maxine porque ella no le creía que estaba genuinamente interesado en ella pero no hay mucha persecución, seducción, momento especial juntos, se juntan muy rápido y el Te amo vino aun mas rápido. Lamentablemente no me convenció, no hizo nada esta pareja para mi junto con la escena sexy.
Esperaba que la historia tuviera mas vibras navideñas pero se pierden por ahí con la sola mención de un árbol de navidad. Hasta ahora todos los romances que leí de Kate Baxter me gustaron pero este no fue uno de mis favoritos.
En resumen, es una lectura rápida, que tiene sus momentos de humor y picante pero con poca navidad que le restó mucho para mi.

The day that she finally lost her temper was the day that she lost his support and now is faced with paying for her own schooling and making her dream of becoming a doctor come true. She’d always vowed never to work on a movie but that is exactly where she finds herself as a medic on set of a new movie. When she meets Andrew she sees a player as a body double who is known for his cheek and he’s also the type of man she’s determined to stay away from but when he lays on the charm and ends up injuring his delectable bum the heat is dialled right up, could she see past who she thinks he is and look at a future or is it destined for a one night only?
Andrew originally came to Hollywood to become an actor but it wasn’t meant to be, however his body is a hot topic and his bum has seen him awarded Mr Sweet Cheeks more than once. He’s lived the life he wanted but he’s getting ready to retire and return to his Texas roots at home, he feels like it’s time to look for his one. There was no looking needed when Maxine walked on set he knew that she had arrived. He thought getting her to like him was going to be a doddle but it’s anything but, she keeps turning him down even after an explosive kiss, it’s not until he’s injured that the fates intervene and he has his girl where he wants her, this was never going to be just a single night but he’s found his narwhal and he isn’t letting her go. Will Maxine give them a chance or will a misunderstanding cause him to lose his chance at the life and love he’s always wanted?

My reviews always contain spoilers, I write them so I can remember the story.
Maxine is basically Hollywood royalty, her family consists of directors, producers, studio owners, and actors. She’s an anomaly, she hates all the vain plastic people and she doesn’t fit the blonde petite actress mold, she’s dark haired and curvy. Plus she’s going to med school to be a doctor. When her misogynistic grandfather complains about her weight and appearance she lashes back at him and he cuts her off financially. This puts a crimp in her med school plans. To make some money she takes a job as a medic on a holiday movie.
There she meets Andrew, he is a butt double. He has been voted Mr. Perfect Cheeks five years in a row. He’s immediately taken with Maxine but she can’t imagine a hot sexy guy like him being interested in a frumpy chubby woman like herself. When Andrew gets injured on set, on his bum no less he has to come see Maxine for medical help. She has a. Plastic surgeon friend take care of the injury so there won’t be any scarring on Mr Perfect Cheeks butt, it’s his moneymaker after all.
They are forced to spend time together while he recuperates, Maxine sees that he really is a nice guy and he really does like and desire her. They enjoy an incredible night together but the next day she overhears him tell his family that she’s his narwhal. Thinking he’s making fun of her weight by calling her a whale she leaves.
The narwhal is a reference his family uses to show they have found their rare and perfect person. Their “one”. He chases her down on set and explains what he meant, that she magical and his one true love. I love yous and a marriage proposal. Epilogue with her now a practicing doctor. Andrew was able to help her find a college that would pay tuition if she worked in rural areas after graduation. They move to his hometown after she graduates and starts her practice, they have a daughter.

Loved it! I just know when I grab one of Kat Baxter’s books, I am going to enjoy it and should just get a cup of hot tea and some cookies, because I am not leaving that sofa until I am finished! And this book kept me up way past my bedtime.
Max was born and raised in what was essentially Hollywood royalty. And became jaded and cynical because of it. Pursuing a career in something so far removed from her family legacy has not eased that up one bit. But after her funds are shut off, she is unfortunately thrust back into the scene working as a set medic.
Andrew is a small-town Texas boy that has an a$$ you could bounce quarters off of - and since he makes his living off it, he probably does! Hollywood hasn’t burned that southern boy charm off yet, and probably never could. After getting literally screwed on set, he visits Max for treatment of his award-winning butt. A Xanax has him being even cheekier than usual and he manages to charm the pants right off her despite her reservations.
This is a short and sweet instalove between a grumpy girl with family, trust and image issues and a light-hearted southern boy determined to win her heart. Other than timing, there isn’t much about the holiday season making an appearance, but it doesn’t detract from the story at all. I definitely recommend this to anyone who loves Kat Baxter’s ability to weave a love story that stays with you!.

This was a quick read grumpy/sunshine holiday romance.
I adore OTT quickly romances. This story is funny, sweet, steamy and heartwarming. Highly recommend!

However, she mouthed off to her grandfather and he stopped paying for her schooling, so she ends up having to work as the medic on set. But it is the only way she can make enough money to continue her schooling. She hates the fact that she is the heiress to her family’s business.
Andrew is usually the stunt double for “those scenes” because he has a perfect bum. He was voted for that five years in a row. Now that he was approaching forty and was thinking that his career in the business was slowing down, that he wanted to move back home to Saddle Creek, TX, and eat what he wanted and find someone to settle down with. He sees Max and it’s like “HER! She’s the one.” But Max thinks Andrew is just using lines on her.
I think this book has to be one of my favorites and is one of the funniest that the author has written yet. Max doesn’t believe Andrew and it isn’t until he gets hurt on set that Max starts to believe him as he is under the influence of some extreme meds. She calls on her bestie who is a plastic surgeon and hilarity ensues as does some very awesome and steamy scenes. I totally loved this book and I can’t wait to read the next. Saddle Creek Tx stories are some of my faves.

The name of the movie is “Naughty List”🙄
Ok I will start by saying I like this Author and I have quite a few books of hers. Though I was really turned off by the end of the 1st Chapter of this book. It starts off with being in Max’s head who is the FMC. She says that she had to beg a friend to get the job of a medic on set of the Christmas Movie but then a couple of paragraphs later the friend begged her to take the job. Then a couple of paragraphs after that she has a paragraph about the movie being called “ A Heartwarming Christmas Movie” and a whole paragraph about how stupid the name is 😳😳🙄Uhmmmm the name of the movie is the name of the Series 🙄 The Naughty List. I’m guessing the author didn’t really read the other books in the series, 🤣
I will say in the beginning I really didn’t like the FMC. I thought she was rude and very judgmental. Though I loved the MMC. He was a TX boy which I love and one of the reasons why I like a lot of Kat Baxter’s books🫶🏻😜. I did end up liking Maxine, Max but it took longer than I anticipated. The book is very short but does have some good steamy scenes. Not that many though so if you’re a reader that doesn’t care about steamy scenes you should be fine.
I read this thru KU and I am going in order but you really don’t have to. They can be read in any order and honestly if this one wouldn’t have said the director, Luca is the director for this movie, you wouldn’t even know it was in the same series. 😎

When he says some cruel things to her, she responds in turn, and he cuts her off financially, leaving her to have to pay for her schooling. So she takes a job as a medic on a movie set where things get interesting, to say the least.
Andrew has been crowned Mr. Perfect Cheeks for years. He makes a living as a body double well sort of. So when he is injured on the set and has to seek medical attention for his injured bottom, he is surprised to find the medic is the woman he has had his eye on for a while.
Maxine is jaded about her body image, about men, and certainly about love. But the way Andrew talks to her and treats her changes everything.
Don't let the title fool you. This book is funny but still cute and sweet. The chemistry between the main characters is great and the banter top-notch. I have read several books by this author, and they are always enjoyable this one was no exception.

The kind with the mythical happy ever after? That’s the kind of nonsense her Hollywood family has been peddling her whole life and she wants no part of it… except she could really use that money to pay for college.
Andrew is kinda proud of his moneymaker, and no, it’s not his smile or his movie star good looks though it COULD be. It’s his rear end and he makes his living by acting as a body double when needed and he loves his job! He’s also ridiculously attracted to Max but she doesn’t believe he really likes her and refuses to be used as a distraction or to feed his ego. What can he do to convince her? Unfortunately before he gets the chance, he hurts his chief asset and has to take minute to regroup.

Y’all!!!!@KatBaxter is already one of my all time favorite author, so it’s no surprise that I love her books. When I snuggled up to read A Very Cheeky Christmas, I expected what I always get with a KB story… a hawt hero, adorkable curvy heroine, lotsa Instalove spice, lotsa feels lotsa LOL moments… and at the end I’ll probably be ugly crying af. You know, the usual awesomeness!!
So A Very Cheeky Christmas was released last year as part of an anthology… and I have been waiting forever for it to be on its own!!! And it came out a couple of days ago… squee!!!
But THIS book… THIIIISSSSSS BOOOOOOOK!!!! I have referenced it so many times now, I’ve recommended to all my romance reading friends AND told other favorite authors about it. And I kid you not… the boo and I were out shopping and I was telling him about this story. I decided to read him the chapter I term as the most ICONIC part of the book… after he had a big smile on his face and he said “Oh wow! That’s awesome!!” Then we had a really deep conversation about it for 30 minutes in the middle of a parking lot!!!

So A Very Cheeky Christmas was released last year as part of an anthology… and I have been waiting forever for it to be on its own!!! And it came out a couple of days ago… squee!!!
But THIS book… THIIIISSSSSS BOOOOOOOK!!!! I have referenced it so many times now, I’ve recommended to all my romance reading friends AND told other favorite authors about it. And I kid you not… the boo and I were out shopping and I was telling him about this story. I decided to read him the chapter I term as the most ICONIC part of the book… after he had a big smile on his face and he said “Oh wow! That’s awesome!!” Then we had a really deep conversation about it for 30 minutes in the middle of a parking lot!!!

Med student Maxine , although she is so not interested in anything Hollywood having grown up in a family that is everything film, she’s a curvy film industry heir who nobody knows about because her grandfather is blinded by bigotry of her plus size figure. So much so that she’s cut off, having to postpone her final year! She agrees to work as a medic on a film set for financial reasons only. When Texan Andrew asks her out on set , she shuns his advances straight off. Andrew is a body double with certain assets that are called for in closeups. He sees this stunner with curves in all the right places and asks her out. Butt ( couldn’t resist) when his aspects are injured , Max gets to uncover the vulnerabilities in both of them to discover they may have more in common that the chemistry that arcs in both of them after a steamy session. Then morning beckons and has she been too hasty with this tasty?…. Awesome story with lots of angst and a sweet ending? Maybe…. Great! With good structure and impressive narrative , an entertaining read indeed.

This book is part of the multi-author series The Naughty List featuring Andrew and Maxine's "cheeky",steamy,grumpy/sunshine romance. Maxine has been around the movie industry her entire life she was born into it her family all work in Hollywood they're considered royalty and it's made Max cynical and jaded. Andrew is a body double with a very valuable ass-et his perfect rear-end which is how he makes his money he's from small town Texas and he still has his southern charm. When he first sees Maxine on the set of the movie he's captivated by her right away but she doesn't feel the same. After his "perfect cheeks" are hurt he goes to visit Maxine for treatment of his award winning buns and after being prescribed Xanax he's even more "cheeky " with Max. I don't want to say anymore and ruin it for anyone else with spoilers. You really need to read this "cheeky," steamy, grumpy/sunshine romance to see what happens. I would recommend reading this book.

Throat Punched.
Awesome. Maxine doesn’t bow down to anything or anyone. Not Hollywood and especially not her grandfather. She never wanted to work in the film industry like the rest of her family. So, here she is working as a medic on a movie set to help pay for the rest of med school. Andrew’s best asset is injured on set and he finds himself in front of the gorgeous medic, again. This time he needs her help not cause another injury. Max gets temporarily fixed up then drives him home to await her doctor friend all the while he flirts with her and she is fighting her attraction to Andrew. Eventually, they spend an amazing night together but, the next morning she overhears his family making comments about her on the video call that she’s supposed to be a part of. She is hurt and makes up an excuse to leave. Andrew knows something is wrong and ends the call and goes after Max. When he finds her will she let him explain exactly what she heard?.

I love an awesome Kat Baxter book! All of her books are wonderful but this holiday novella was fabulous. Maxine is Hollywood royalty but she wants no part of it; she wants to be a doctor. She does not think that she is Hollywood material with all of her curves. She is fine with that.
Andrew is a body double, particularly his backside. Once he spots Max he knows that he’s found his narwhal - his other half. While he is charming, Max is way too skeptical. Andrew wants Max but she will not have anything to do with him, until he gets hurt on set and is sent to her - the set medic.
This book was amazing. I fell in love with Andrew! His persistence paid off but it wasn’t without misunderstandings, funny though they may be. Kat Baxter’s talents never cease to amaze me. This quick read is definitely worth your time!.

Wow just wow!
Maxine is almost done with medical school and needs to take a semester out to work on a movie set to pay her school fees and meets Andrew, who is working on the set and whom she thinks is just trying to sleep with her. She's super jaded because she's seen a lot of Hollywood, so she doubts any of his motives are genuine, while Andrew is quite the sunshine character because he finds her absolutely adorable.
Wow just wow! I have read several of the author's books before but this one I thoroughly enjoyed. I loved all of the non-cliche-cliches and both the characters were so interesting in a relatable way.
I really loved the writing and the banter and the dual POV. If you need a fun light read for an hour or so, and you want it sweet as well, you MUST read this!!! I enjoyed it so so much.
