Star One’s highly anticipated comeback performance is interrupted as mysterious assailants burst onto the stage! However, unlike last time, Star One wield their own magic and spring into action―all except Eugene. Although he helps as much as he can, his lack of magic limits what he can do. When one of the attackers rushes straight for him, Eugene is completely defenseless… that is, until the strange stray cat he picked up appears in a flash of light…!
Despite the massive information dump I got in this volume I’m still beyond confused as to what is happening here. Like I get the basic concept, but it just feels very flat.
I agree with other reviewers - this book is mostly world-building filler. The lore is interesting, and I do want to know more, but you gotta put some character growth in there, too. Aside from YJ's character finally manifesting and some stuff w/ SB's character's mom at the end, nothing else really develops for anyone. If I weren't a TXT fan, I'm not sure this installment would be enough to keep me reading. BUT since I am a MOA, and I do want to know what kind of story they're trying to tell, I'll grab the next one. Would still recommend for now!
The cover is gorgeous. The story is intriguing and I am invested but this volume was pretty slow. Mostly exposition with a few new "shocking" details and some foreshadowing.
Volume 2 continues with the boys balancing their new powers and the pressures of idol life and their gained fame. But Eugene hasn't really grasped his powers yet!
Aún no veo tantas similitudes con los mvs de TXT pero literalmente no me importa muchísimo no verlas porque la historia me intriga bastante. No sé en quién confiar y en quién no
The star seekers storyline really is just quite okay. It feels very cliché and not very well written. I fear hybe webtoons peaked at save me and nothing will ever come close to that perfection
