First off, I give credence to the author, being John Lake's son in law, and having been around, and involved in the man's ministry (often people who have done their own research on such personalities, yet have no exposure to the realities of the workings of God in their ministries like to speculate on those inner workings without firsthand knowledge).
The book was not so much of a biography, as it was more of a study on John Lake's ministry and anointing. As such it did contain biographical information, as well as testimonials, which were all informative and encouraging. I look forward to reading Lake's full autobiography.

I also highly recommend reading the sermons, and excerpts of sermons made by John Lake at the end of the book. These were outstandingly insightful, and fraught with revelation particularly on the subject of divine healing which is, perhaps, the most notable dynamic of Lake's ministry.

Very provoking on the subject of healing. Definitely worth reading again and again!
