Completely updated, this new edition of Nise's popular book on the design of control systems shows how to use MATLAB to perform control-system calculations. Designed for the professional or engineering student who wants a quick and readable update on designing control systems, the text features a series of tightly focused and superbly crafted examples that make each concept of designing control systems easily and quickly understandable to the reader.
A really enjoyable book. I got mesmerised by the presentation of the author. Each chapter would start with a gentle introduction and then proceed on explaining the topics and finally give the reader where and how the theories learnt can be applied. The worked out examples are also good and gives the reader ample idea of solving problems and the book also offers a great collection of problems to solve. In a word this is a great book and after a long while I have come across such an elegant book in my coursework.
I used this book for my intro controls courses. It's pretty good and easy to understand for the most part. I think the explanations of PID control design and lead/lag compensators could have been a little better. I'm not sure if this should be covered in an introductory course, but this book does not cover LQR control, which I find somewhat disappointing.
The best book for the undergraduate students to study as a reference book for the course linear control systems. I regret that I didn't study this one when I had the chance.
I have read the whole book, the author explains everything precisely and in an organised manner. Two case studies go side by side and you also learn how to use MATLAB/simulink software for understanding and computations. Loved it as a Mechatronics & Control Engineer.
I think the best way to introduce the reader to the control subject is by reading this book. However, It needs a good foundation in signals and systems, diff equations and linear algebra topics before you go for this one, this book gives you everything related to the classical control theory but you will still need another books for modern control theory (state-space) and digital control systems.
Aku pinjam buku ini dari AHMAD NOR KASRUDDIN yang sedang sambung PHD, aku rekod kat sini takut lupa, bolehlah jejak kat laman ini bila tuan dah balik kelak, ps: GOOD BOOK for learn about transient!
