This story is set in the year 1939, a time of rising tensions and a technological revolution. Born in Hollywood, California, Ethan Lawrence has served on the writing staffs of the TV series THE PRETENDER, MURDER IN SMALL TOWN X, FEARING MIND, and SyFy Channel’s acclaimed series EUREKA. He has developed limited series for Alloy Entertainment and The Gold Company, and sold TV pilots to Warner Bros. and NBC Universal. He wrote the screenplays NEVERMORE for Propaganda Films and CREEPERS for Papa Joe Films (based on the David Morrell New York Times bestseller Creepers). He also wrote the released feature films ASYLUM for Hyde Park Entertainment and TRUTH OR DARE for Cinetel Films/SyFy Channel. He holds a B.A. in English Literature and M.F.A. in the Screenwriting Program from the University of California, Los Angeles. When he's not hiding in his office toiling away on his computer, he loves to travel all over the world, exploring new cities and cultures and looking for inspiration for unique tales to tell. He lives in Los Angeles and while spending time with his wife (also a writer) and daughter, he still finds time to play tennis, read, research, daydream and imagine diving into history and the supernatural for his next novel.
