Penny Pope is famous for her impeccable style and keen eye for fashion, but she doesn’t actually want to be famous and prefers to live her life quietly behind the scenes. As a celebrity stylist her job is to make the beautiful people look even more beautiful, not that her latest client Easton Woods needs any help in that department.
Hollywood’s newest “It Boy” knows the danger of falling in love at such a pivotal point in his budding acting career, but Easton simply can’t stop himself from trying to find out just how much this Penny is really worth.

"I am a writer that creates stories and characters for black girls and women who never got to see themselves as the protagonist. Whether you were told that your skin was too dark, your hair was too nappy, your body was too big or too tall or all of the above, I’m here to tell you it was all a lie and I have something written just for you. For us."
The Hollywood bad boy and the celebrity stylist were an interesting pair but, I was here for it. I loved everything about Penny and Easton. You could feel the chemistry from the moment they met. We Never Go Out of Style is a cute and quick read and, by the end of the book, I wanted more of Penny and Easton. You can think Wesleigh for that because, as always, she did a phenomenal job narrating. If you’re lookin’ a quick read to get your numbers up, add We Never Go Out of Style to your TBR.
This is such a cute, short, sexy, and sweet story….really about not judging a book by its cover…Penny had a preconceived notion about Easton….She got to know him and fell fast and hard….of course the couple encounter their obstacles….But, eventually Penny & Easton get to their HEA. Love Wesleigh’s Narration.
Although this novella was short and sweet, the "Insta-love" was a little too instant for me. For a minute, I thought I had skipped a few pages by mistake.
Poppy and Easton's relationship needed a few more pages of development.
Nevertheless, I did like when Easton stood up and defended Penny against her arch enemy!
Penny Pope is still recovering from a humiliating break up, when she’s forced back to work - styling rising star, Easton Woods. Though she’s promised herself it’s just a gig to get back into the swing of things, Easton’s good looks and charm just might convince her to get back in the saddle when it comes to her love life.
Glover has written a beautiful story of Black love. Highlighting the ups and downs of bad break ups and finding love again. Penny and Easton’s banter and attraction for each other ignites the pages of their love story. Much like the book title says, Glover’s masterful skills at writing characters you can’t help but root for and swoon-worthy romance will “never go out of style”!
I would recommend this book to fans of Glover’s previous novels and sweet romances that bring the heat.
What a cute, fun read! Penny returning to work after a yearlong hiatus due to heartbreak was hard enough, but to be thrust into the world of Hollywood’s hottest actor, may be her undoing! Penny is a stylist to the stars; however, she is lowkey and enjoys her privacy.
Easton Woods was Hollywood royalty and had a reputation that proceeded him. However, you cannot believe everything the blogs say right? Easton was a regular guy, who wanted to meet someone who was for “him,” not Easton Woods the actor.
When Penny met Easton, you could feel the chemistry sizzling, and knew that the fun was about to begin. Easton wasted no time shooting his shot, by being charming, having interesting conversation, and making Penny laugh. On the other hand, Penny had doubts that this man was really someone she could trust, living the type of life that he does, with her past breakup fresh on her brain.
After giving Easton one date, he made her a believer! I loved Penny’s quirkiness and witty banter. Easton was just her speed. They were adorable, and I would love to see more of them. Teegan! You tried it honey! But Easton read you for filth, and I bet you won’t try that ish no mo! 😂 Great read! 👍👍👍

My thoughts: There wasn't a lot of substance here but it was well written, so I'm going to read more from this author to see if a full book makes a difference.
Recommend to others: It's okay, I think the cover is the highlight but the story isn't bad just not much plot. Good for a quick read and no bangxiety.
I loved everything about this read!!! Penny and Easton had chemistry and you could feel it. I knew by chapter 2 that I was going to want more of them…..here’s hoping we get more from Tanzania! If you’re looking for a quick read, that’s instalovish this is perfect for you!
Super cute, sweet romance novella. I thoroughly enjoyed the heavy flirty from the very beginning and how the FMC was not afraid to say what was on her mind. I was absolutely thrown for a loop at the end but was very happy with how everything played out
Short, sweet, and excellently delivered, We Never Go Out Of Style is another novella that I absolutely loved! You can be sure to add this book to your collection of novellas that Tanzania Glover nailed.
When celebrity stylist Penny Pope is tasked with her latest project after having been on leave for some time, she has no idea what she is getting herself into. All she knows is that she'd rather stay held up at home living in the comforts of her own isolation. She is coming off of a public breakup and has no interest in coming out of hiding. So when Easton Woods comes into the picture the last things she needs or wants is a new love interest, but Easton can't help help but begin the chase.
Penny and Easton learn that they have much more in common than either of them can imagine and the heat is on! Once Penny agrees to a date with Easton to allow herself an opportunity to live in the moment, they both realize that maybe it's in the cards after all.
I love how vulnerable both Penny and Easton allowed themselves to be with one another even after experiencing their own past hurts and disappointments. I think their chemistry is what ultimately made this story and A+ for me. How the characters evolve over time and come to trust and love again, in a real way.
Short, sweet, and romantic! I loved Easton and Penny. This short story was just what I needed. These two made me laugh and swoon and believe in love! What's meant to be will always be.
Great plot. Relatable and likable characters and excellent worldbuilding.
Narration: Wesleigh Siobhan is the GOAT and can do nothing wrong in my book. She always brings the characters to life, and my ears love her for sure!
Loved everything about this! Would recommend for anyone who needs a short, sweet, black romance read.
This was a cute, short story! I initially wanted to read this novella due to the beautiful cover, but I stayed for the writing. The story was well written, concise yet interesting and seemed to be realistic to the environment (coming from a fashion lover & worker). This is my first read by the author and I wasn't disappointed. Being a music lover, I was in love with the playlist- it added the perfect touch. 10/10 would recommend
This was such a cute story about two people finding one another and taking a chance on love. Penny was very skeptical on Easton because of his tabloid story. But she got to know the true him. Easton made it know that Penny was his woman. He made her feel safe. Great read.
A cute and sweet novella! Tanzania Glover gave us a great storyline with entertaining characters. Although this was a quick read, it flowed well and didn’t feel rushed. Easton and Penny were still able to find love in the end. I’m not sure if Simone and Max have stories already, but if they don’t, I would love to hear from them in the future. As always, I give my honest opinion in my reviews, and I personally feel that Tanzania Glover gave us a very good read!
International love UK vs USA , drunken marriage and actor vs stylist love story. If you like the sound of this combination then this book is for you . A lovely short story that will leave you smiling and giddy.
This novella was good. Like most, I wanted more but I’m surprised how the author wrapped everything up so quickly. The attraction between Penny and Easton is immediate and it’s fun.
But oh so sweet! There’s so many things I would’ve loved to unpack. Bit I appreciate the novella for being the novella it is. The content speaks to the writers talent. I’m praying that the sisters have their own stories coming. 🙏🏾🙃
Quick easy read. Superb narration that really makes you feel/hear the chemistry between these 2 that had me grinning and swooning....esp when it was time to get down with the get down. Her being a stylist and him an actor was fun. Perfect little escape.
