This was an exceelent book! I loved all the visual language that Swinburne used to describe the behavior of the grizzly mother and her cubs. I also like that since this book is obviously geared more toward the readers in the intermediate grades that he didn't shy away from giving a factual representation of the bears' diet. The endnotes and the additional books that the reader could consult to learn more were both excellent. I loved the book. I'd recommend adding it to any children's library.
