This was one of the textbooks I used to teach from when a high school teacher. One of the authors was the Head of History at the school.

I re-read this through in light of it being the 80th anniversary of D-Day. Even this book for students captures some of the horror of the Nazi regime. It is also pertinent as far too many today seem to be flirting with populist and increasingly nationalistic ideas!
