Estoy completamente sorprendida por lo mucho que disfruté esta historia ??? El dibujo me pareció una belleza mal y la trama en si me mantuvo sumamente entretenida desde el primer capítulo. Me hubiera gustado ver un poco más de los protagonistas una vez que se pusieron en pareja, pero bueno :)) no se puede todo en la vida I guess (@autora sacame side stories te lo pido de rodillas)

3.5⭐️ Debo admitir que al principio me estresaba mucho el Seo Yeon-oh 🤧 pero con el pasar de los capítulos se fue volviendo más tolerable. Es una historia entretenida aunque con escenas un poco fuertes y moralmente cuestionable

Un manhwa BL amb alts i baixos, però força addictiu gràcies a les seves espectaculars il·lustracions (de les millors juntament amb 야화첩 1, Pearl Boy i la pendent Ghost's nocturne trobo). Val a dir que tenia una imatge molt més tòxica de la relació i em pensava que inclouria escenes més bèsties, però no és el pitjor manhwa en aquest sentit ^^' Un actor novell arruïnat per culpa dels deutes de joc de son pare es veu obligat a acceptar "la companyia" d'un mecenes ric, l'atractiu, però distant hereu d'un conglomerat d'empreses. La 1a temporada és la millor perquè la trama i la presentació dels personatges és clara i no hi ha cap malentès o falta de comunicació absurda, més enllà de fer veure que estan sortint. Ara bé, a partir del capítol 58 la cosa descarrila molt fort perquè els protagonistes s'emprenyen l'un amb l'altre i lluny de voler solucionar el problema parlant, mantenen una actitud infantil i utilitzen el sexe com a moneda de canvi o per venjança. A més, el drama s'intensifica exageradament i el pobre uke no té ni un respir entre desgràcia i desgràcia. Finalment, la 3a temporada acaba d'una manera precipitada i amb la sensació de bluf insatisfactori perquè costa de creure el famós "redemption arc" amb confessió del seme inclosa i tampoc no es resol gaire bé la connexió que tenien de petits. El final és massa abrupte i és inevitable pensar que tots dos han embolicat la troca quan no calia perquè ja s'estimaven... En fi, molt amè, però veig que s'estan publicant unes noves side stories que espero que esmenin els problemes narratius de la història principal. De les 4 side stories ambientats en època Joseon a l'estil Painter of the night, 광안 총2권, Steel under silk i tantíssims d'altres millor ni en parlem... :/

Qué coraje traigo atorado. Dejé hace mucho de leer manhwas precisamente porque me resultaban insulsos y la mayoría iban de lo mismo (al menos los famosos), del tipo abusivo y el otro dejado. Pero este fue de lo último que leí, esperando que se acumularan capítulos y Diooos, ay es que ni siquiera sé cómo describirlo 🤧
Por alguna razón lo continué, no tiene la gran trama ni los personajes más entrañables, pero esperaba que la redención de uno de los protagonistas fuera mejor llevada. No sé si es porque lo leí por partes, pero sentí que fue muy de la nada; en un momento lo trató mal, y ya al otro lo súper quería y se arrepentía de todo. Y luego ese salto de tiempo: Noooo, por quéeee? En los últimos capítulos todo se desarrolló muy rápido y dejó varias cosas abiertas. Esperaba los extras para verlos como pareja, y pusieron uno de época. Está bonito, pero yo quería ver más desarrollo 😭 Me pone triste porque quería que la historia mejorara, me dejó un sabor agridulce, más sabiendo que es el último manhwa que leeré seguramente

Why do current popular BLs always incorporate the classic poor MC rich ML dynamic where the poor MC owes loan sharks and so the samaritan ML comes in and saves the day. Its seriously so horrid to read and I am just going to drop BL entirely at this rate because every BL that has nice art style has the most horrid and disgusting plot. The S@ + non consensual drug usage just kills the beauty of the art and yeah sure, the ML has a redemption arc yippee everyone give a little cheer wow so awesome but why do BL authors have a literal allergy of writing healthy relationships that dont have a fucked up power dynamic that overrides the entire course of the relationship? Also the plot was so rushed at the start and meh overall it just felt like half baked and a bit of the author just going like "oh im just going to make it up as i go". Absolute train wreck.

2/5 - Whole series review! I read all three seasons, so this is just my overall impression of the series. It needed more panels. There was a whole bunch of jumping between scenes with often little context. One second, on a date. Very next panel, MC being bullied. Setup for the transfer between scenes was not great. Art style? 🤌🤌🤌 Premise was fake dating - they didn't lean into that enough for me. That plot point got swept away by the other plot points. And there was EXCESSIVE amounts of non con/almost r**e scenes. Too many. It felt like a cheap way to build plot and tension, but I really hate when authors use that for those purposes, as that isn't a joking matter. I get how it actually adds to a character and their development in some stories, but the use of it here was excessive and distasteful. MC's compatability was in the gutter until, like, the last 3-4 chapters. Finished it. Happy to have done so. Will not read again.

edit: i’m now up-to-date and HOLY FUCK WHAT A TOXIC MESS. jesus, this shit’s hot, too. and depressing… but mostly hot. equally as fucked up, naturally. goddammit… i know the author said we’ll be getting a happy ending, but… ohhh, man. i really can’t see it at this point in time. they have such an unhealthy dynamic going on. ;_;

edit #2: it’s finally complete… god, this was pretty messed up. (i still loved it, though, lol!) definitely not as bad as it could’ve been, knowing how miserable and violated some of the main characters in these stories end up. my one and only complaint is the rushed ending. it’s a shame we didn’t actually get to see them as a “happy couple” or whatever they would’ve been, but i’m hoping we’ll get a couple of side chapters showcasing that eventually.

ESTO ES A LO QUE ME REFERÍA CUANDO BUSCABA UN BUENA LECTURA DE MANGA COREANO.
Mi primer contacto con este tipo de lecturas fue Killing Stalking, que mirando más allá de lo brutal que es, es una historia sin pelos en la lengua con una trama desgarradora y que no te deja frío. Después de eso, solo me he encontrado historias que me decían que eran buenas y no me terminaban de convencer al final. Pensaba que a lo mejor es el estilo, que tenía que adaptarme. PERO ESTO OMG

Si, faltan muchas cosas, veo muchos agujeros pero está bien, me gustaría más sentimientos, que se vea más claro la transición y la confusión de saberse enamorado.

La verdad no es un manhwa relativamente novedoso, es el cliché del millonario que decide ayudar al chico pobre a pagar sus deudas. Aunque estoy sorprendida, ya que de cierta forma lo disfrute, hay algunos temas que me quedaron debiendo y que no me gustaron, pero de resto es entretenido.

Lo que más me gusta es el estilo de dibujo, sin duda uno de los mejores manhwas que he leído en cuestión de dibujo, me hubiera gustado ver más sobre a relación amorosa de los protagonistas cuando empezaron a salir pero de resto todo bien.

Holy smokes, the art in this webtoon is 10/10. I know that Kwon Jaehyuk (ML) is an asshole but he's a hot asshole. I like Seo Yeon-oh (MC), he's so pretty and I think he's doing his best given his circumstances. Even though SYO and KJH have an arrangement, it's clear that SYO has caught feelings for the older man but I'm not sure whether KJH feels the same about him, so I'm looking forward to reading about that in S2.

📚⇢ Pues no es nada nuevo, es el típico cliché del top millonario que decide ayudar al bottom pobre a pagar sus deudas (que ni siquiera son de él mismo sino de su padre). Jaehyuk le ofrece a Yeon-Oh tener una relación falsa para así fastidiar a su abuelo y evitar casarse; a cambio él le dará todo el dinero que necesite. Por algún motivo eso incluye tener sexo (con un consentimiento muy dudoso) cuando no hay nadie al que demostrar que están juntos… como dije, nada nuevo en el mundo de los manhwas.

📚⇢ Y bueh, llegando al final de la primera temporada mi principal problema fue Jaehyuk; aunque parece que es un hombre atento y que lo da todo, también resulta ser un manipulador emocional. Le dice a Yeon-Oh que lo suyo es sólo una relación falsa, pero luego procede a tratarlo de manera cariñosa y hasta lo lleva a un viaje romántico a la playa… para finalizar abusando sexualmente de él al verle unas marcas hechas por otra persona. Es curioso que Jaehyuk parece saber siempre todo acerca de los movimientos de Yeon-Oh pero del maltrato que sufrió a manos del mafioso no lo supo y por ese motivo termino lastimándolo aún más… raro.

Okay, the art is definitely gorgeous. 10/10. It might be basic, since about an uke who got trapped on a loan shark because of his family (dad, mostly). Then he got a sponsorship and it would help him to pay all the debt. I didn't mean to say this story is bad. I just don't like his father (his brother too, a bit).

It was not the best I’ve read. Honestly for me it was way to dramatic and triggered a very sensitive trope (rape, sexual abuse) that I can’t enjoyed at all.
But, the story line is solid and very well done you can empathize with the main character quite easily but yeah way too sad for me…. Like the dude have zero positiveness in his

Yo los estoy amando. Me encanta, aunque aún no logro descifrar del todo a Jaehyuk. Siento que a él le gusta mucho Yeon-oh, pero sigue siendo muy frío y no lo sé. Por otra parte, maldita sea el papá de Yeon-oh; mi pobre niño tiene que cargar con las deudas de su irresponsable papá.

It’s so fucking beautiful el art y su secuencia de planos it’s accurate, my heart itches cada vez que a Seo Yeon-Oh le pasa algo y Jae-Hyeok va al rescate, no odio su personaje y puedo llegar a entender su actitud o el por qué hace ciertas cosas.

La mera neta les voy a decir la vdd, está bien intenso en el nivel de smut. Perooooo, la historia es buena, ES BUENAAAA MALDITASEA. Y amo mucho a los protas, si se ve que se van a amar bien intensamente pero de esos amores que todo les va a salir mal para que puedan estar juntos.
