The level of excitement that I felt when this book fell into my hands cannot be described by words. This series has literally brought life back to the zombie lover’s world. Move over Walking Dead because Daryl and Rick have absolutely nothing on Preston and Rebekah. AlibiZ picks up right after RecruitZ. Just when you thought some semblance of peace is coming to Afterworld with the zombie vaccine in walks another deadly foe. TRAC has stepped up their game and has pulled out all the stops to disc

I stood in my bedroom and glanced at myself in the reflection of the long mirror. On first glance, I appeared smaller, but I was stronger. My body had changed, muscles more defined, fewer curves to confuse my clothes. But all I cared about was the strength, and I could see it, especially in my eyes.

I couldn’t wait to get my hands on this book from the moment I finished the first one. Unfortunately life plays a large role on when we get to them, right? And I had to wait a bit of time after i

A MUST read for all those zombie fans.

OK….. So who knew that I love stories on zombies? This story is so intricately woven, the characters and how they interact with each other….LOVED! I love all the twists and turns that come with the story and I look forward to the next book which I am sure will be filled with drama and excitement just as the first two are.

I admit I cried, yes I absolutely cried for Rebekah. When you read what happens to her and Preston in this book I know you will to

I thought Recruitz was good Alibiz is better.

I literally lost sleep because I was worried about Rebekah. There were so many twists and turns in this tale that will shock you. I'm getting ready to start uprizing. This is a listed as a romance but it's so much more

When I read RecruitZ, the first book in this series, earlier this year, I thoroughly enjoyed it and thought it was one of the better zombie books I’ve come across, largely because the author clearly knows how to do it right when it comes to creating a world I can fall right in to. I was also intrigued by characters who stood apart from the norm, with Rebekah being a strong, self-sufficient woman who can take care of herself and Preston being her equal in all the ways that count. I could barely s ...more

An action-packed and thrilling second book in the 'Afterworld' series. I'm addicted. Full review will be posted on my blog for my stop on the 'Afterworld Series' Blog Tour: http://www.oldvictorianquill.wordpres...

‘RecruitZ’ was one of my favourite reads this year, so when I saw that ‘AlibiZ’ was soon to be available I squealed with excitement.
Karice Bolton has created such a well developed world that not only intrigues me, but has me on the edge of my seat as the inhabitants of it struggle to mo

I received a free copy of the book from the author for my honest opinion.

Rebekah is back and she is determined to tell the world the truth behind the RecruitZ and who is charge of them. She will expose the truth if it is the last thing she ever does. She will stop the monsters that are turning innocents into zombies and are trying to take over the world. Rebekah and Preston are on the run and hiding from the monsters that created these new zombies. They have met a lot of new people that want the

AlibiZ is powerful sequels to the action packed RecruitZ, and trust me the action did not stop with RecruitZ. The discoveries at the end of RecruitZ had me dying to read AlibiZ and it did not disappoint. The is action around every corner, and new revelations made just about as often. There is so much packed into AlibiZ and yet I still feel like I need more. That is a beauty of Karice Bolton’s writing, there is always a need for more story. The story no matter how action packed or shoved full of ...more

Must Read Book One!

This picked up RIGHT where it left off in book one. All of the drama, the cliff hanger, everything starts again!

It’s kind of funny because I read quite a bit so I was worried that I would not remember this. As soon as I started it all came crashing back. I would have prefered a bit more of a hint as to the previous book as they are so far apart. For the most part my memory was able to keep up.

Characters are thrilling, engaging, and persistent!

Rebekah is just as great as she wa

Whereas Recruitz was about fear, Alibiz is about control. An unknown organization is behind the methodical manipulation of rogue zombies and modifieds, directing them to kill innocent civilians and overturn governing bodies.
However, Rebekah and Preston are still leading the rebel group, trying to discover who is behind these attacks despite having a bounty placed on their heads.
Karice Bolton’s writing is fluid and each turn of the page brings more questions and suspense. The Afterworld is a viol

I was so excited to get this book, because RecruitZ was pretty much my favorite series debut in a long time. You know how sometimes a book that you look forward to can be a letdown because it can't possibly live up to the hype? That was not at all the case here.

As tends to be the case in middle books in a series, there is some new information learned here. The unique thing, though, is that everything that happens in this book is both unexpected but also, when considered in the context of the fir

What if you can be inoculated against Zombi-ism. What if Zombies aren't mindless. And what if you don't know who you can trust. At all.

If you are looking for a gory, beat em up, eat em up zombie fest, these are not the books you want. However, if you are looking for a clever new twist on the zombie apocalypse, then get your hands on these books.

I found Rebekah to be a complex character. Outwardly confident and strong, inside, a churning mess of insecurities and doubts. A very well written, and b

Whoa! This was an intense ride with enough twists it kept me emotionally exhausted and at the edge of my seat! The stakes are higher and the tension was thicker. New friends are made and new enemies are exposed. I couldn't put it down, well except when the kids dragged me away for this thing called food. I loved to see the growth of Rebekah in so many ways. With all her struggles to come to terms with Gavin's death and his secrets to her growing attraction to Preston while also fighting for the ...more

When I read RecruitZ, I could not put it down, I finished reading it within hours so I was so excited with AlibiZ coming out! This story takes off right from the beginning. The story is amazingly written leaving you turning the pages because there is so much more going on than I even thought imaginable with this story. Ms. Bolton does not disappoint in delivering a dystopian series that is action packed, filled with secrets that are bound to be found out, and digs deeper into this story and the ...more

The lies, deception and intrigue continued as Rebekah tried to uncover the truth and to end the danger that threatened to destroy the Afterworld.
Although much was revealed in the first book, even more secrets were uncovered in this enthralling read, with a few curveballs to keep me on my toes. The danger was taken to new heights and I was on the edge of my seat throughout this book.
A book filled with plenty of action and mystery, there was never a dull moment. Truly a stellar read.

Fantastic book! Action packed, original, and simply hard to put down. I loved every moment of reading this book. I loved that it is unique in many aspects. I loved that there was twists and turns and not at all predictable. Can't wait to see what happens next! Ugh 2015 is too far away :-( I highly recommend you lovely readers check out this book but be sure to read the previous book to catch up on this amazing series.

Just like the first one, this was really intense! Every page is action packed and every sentence draws you along to the next. The depths of conspiracy are insane and you can't help but connect to these characters as they fight to save their future.

I couldn't put this book down. The first one was good, but some of the writing annoyed me. On this one it flows much better. The story is delightfully twisted and I cannot wait for the next one.

Karice received an MFA in Creative Writing from the U of W. She has written over thirty novels, and she has several exciting projects in the works (or at least she thinks they're exciting). Karice lives in the Pacific Northwest with her awesome husband and two cute English Bulldogs. She loves anything to do with snow, and she seeks out the stuff whenever she can, especially if there's a toasty fir ...more
