The Window of the Lord's Return 2012-2020

The title of this book is called "The Window of the Lord's Return", When I think about this future window of time. It is my conviction that when Israel became a nation in 1948, a time-clock was started, and this generation will not pass away until the return of the Lord Jesus. Recently, I heard Rev. John Hagee say, "we are the Terminal Generation." I believe he meant this generation will live to see the coming of the Lord. Since 1948, sixty-two years of this generation have expired. In this book, I will be looking at this narrowing window and attempt to show how close we are to the Lord's return. I will also be sharing an in-depth study on the rapture and other related end-time subjects. The most important subject I will be covering is the timing of the rapture in relation to the Great tribulation. I realize that this is a sensitive subject for many. Please realize that the timing of the rapture has no bearing on our salvation, but it is important that we get it right. More then one half of all the readers of this book have agreed that my study is true. The church or the saints will go though the first half of the Great Tribulation. Of those who do not agree, not one has given sound scriptural reasons why my position is wrong. Eighty percent of all Christians in America have been mistaught concerning the coming Great Tribulation. I welcome anyone who will take the challenge and prove this study wrong. The focus of this challenge being to disprove my position as laid out in chapter 8, Pre-trib. vs Mid-tribulation view of the rapture. If you cannot prove me wrong, then help me spread the message of this book. A time of Great Tribulation is coming for the church and a time of great revival and the harvest of souls is coming as well. The church must be ready for both. Till date, I have not encountered a more accurate and bible-based teaching on the tribulation and the second coming of Jesus than what has been narrated in this book. The reader will find that the author has brought much clarity on a number of topics relating to the last days especially on the pre,mid and post tribulation. It is worth mentioning that he has not been dogmatic with regard to the window period from 2012 to 2020 but has provided this time period more as an illustrative example rather than a definite prediction of end time events that will be occuring as mentioned in the book. The required spiritual and physical preparations provided at the end are eye opening and encouraging, and very practical too. Personally, I am uing this book as a reference. I am sure that a careful and prayerful study of the book will be a blessing to the reader.

We need to be prepared: It could well be a mid tribulation

Well argued and presented. Most expect a pre tribulation rapture and can well be deeply disappointed. Although we all hope for a pre tribulation rapture these arguments strengthened me to keep my faith and hope in Him should the great tribulation start and we have to suffer. In fact I personally believe that the mid tribulation is unfortunately more probable.

I gave this 4 stars because I agree with the overall message of the book & most everything he says, though there are a few things that I was still confused on. The main thing that bugged me a little about this book was the repetition. Several times I checked my kindle to make sure I hadn't accidentally skipped back in the book & was rereading things I had already read. I know the author was just trying to make sure the reader was following along as the subject matter is quite confusing at times, but there were parts of the book that are literally word for word repetitive from previous sections. All in all though, I think the book offers a compelling argument on a mid-tribulation rapture, which I agree with. I'm not exactly sold 100% on his guesstimates on the timeline of when the tribulation will start, seeing how when he wrote it in 2012, he was expecting it to have already begun by now in 2014, but I don't let the facts of what he showed in Bible about the mid-tribulation rapture (whenever in time that in fact will be) to be thrown out just because things are not as far a long in the timeline now as he guessed it would be. Very thought-provoking.

This Book will make you think.

Regardless of what you believe about the timing of the Coming of the Lord for His Church, you owe it to your study of God's Word to give this book a read.

While I do not agree with all of John Shorey's conclusions, his research is very thorough and thought provoking. This material has definitely made me search my heart.

I recommend reading this book because it has some great insights about the book of Revelation and other end time prophecies. I gave the book 4 stars instead of 5 because parts of the book are very repetitive.

Very easy to understand and biblically backed

He states his case very clearly and backs it up by scripture for a mid tribulation rapture. This supported what I had been realizing myself and his warnings to the church are exactly my concerns.
