Bear Country TV was a lot of fun for the Berenstain Bears. They ran a television station. The station was so popular. It went public, but the bears weren't studying very much. They learned that there can be too much of a good thing and that there's more to life than television. It was a good story.

This is another one that I personally found kind of dry and getting outdated, but the 6-year old kiddie really liked it. The Berenstains are very careful to build in positive lessons about the moral high ground, which is a nice touch. The bears themselves are cute and the kids always manage to get into some kind of mildly challenging situation that they have to think their way out of. Would happily pick up another in the series.

The kids set up a school TV station. The story is dry and quite dated at this point. The moral of the story seems to be the superiority of schoolwork to TV sensationalism, but the cover seems to suggest the moral to be about the dangers of running an amateur circus with schoolkids. Seriously, what kind of school TV station is this?
