This extra is such a cryfest.
It shows the readers the deepest secrets and pains of each of the characters in the story--that of a father's, a sibling, a son, a noble, a lover, a best friend, even those who have been exalted and "chosen" have their own set of troubles.
This is just but a glimpse of a part of their lives that made and shaped them into who they are right now: hurt, lost, but still compassionate. Not everyone can be like that, only strong people could--the ones who were able to form a bond with others--only them alone can find the love and the strength within to protect someone and stand firm no matter what happens.

Tomo extra de esta saga que, aunque se podría obviar, creo que puede ser interesante para completar ciertas historias que no se habían cerrado del todo o para explicar las vidas de personajes secundarios.
Son seis relatos en los cuales el protagonista es uno de los personajes principales de la historia. En estos relatos se cuenta el pasado de ellos y explican ciertos acontecimientos que han hecho que terminaran uniéndose a la aventura de buscar a los seguidores de crixus.
Historias cortas, entretenidas, algunas con un poco más de drama que otras, pero todas necesarias para entender mejor a los protagonistas de esta aventura y saber de dónde han salido o por qué han decidido ir a la búsqueda.
Podría obviarse, pero nunca está de más leer algo más de esos personajes a los que hemos seguido desde el principio. Un tomo que se lee rápido y que permite conocer más sobre la historia principal y sus protagonistas.

I love seeing the past (and possible future) of the characters
And, I cried my friend. I cried.
This is the best thing that has ever happened in my life. If I could give this manga more than 5 stars, I would in like a blink of a freaking eye.

I haven't been playing the role playing game, neither the videogames. Without background, I find myself reading a fantasy manga which is drawn in a neat and classical style.
The story is pleasant enough but weak in few spots. Luckily, it doesn't become mechanic and losing the tempo in ripetitive details which would characterize the mission the characters are involved into. However, the rythm is not always constant and there are moments where the story is slightly aground.
What I enjoyed the least where the characters. No one of them turned out to be a revolutionary surprise and no one of them did develop in some unexpected manner.
But possibly, the fact that the setting is surely not Tolkien's word doesn't help the characters to acquire a needed depth.
The final chapter of the story could have been more conclusive. The "Extra load" volume could have been left unwritten, or if needed, it should have actually helped out in filling the missing story parts if written in a more considerate way: it seems the author didn't want to write it and was in hurry to get rid of it.

Lo jugué en consola pero no lo terminé. Comparándolo le daría mucha menos nota, y le he calzado 3 estrellas, pero bueno, respecto a eso solo diré que deberían haberlo hecho más larga para saltarse menos historias intermedias que me parecen interesantes.
Como obra autónoma decir que a veces no comprendo ni siquiera que gaitas me están contando, las motivaciones de los personajes y así podríamos seguir, vamos que me falta mucha información esencial en mi opinión. Ahora, para pasar el rato y punto se deja leer, x eso el 3. Vamos que estaba dudando si 2 o 3 y al final 3

Loved the game when I was younger. I love the Manga and anime equally much. :)
