Fae Wars: Tales from the Occupation
Wars end, enemies are defeated and territories are conquered and the combatants have to return to a life changed. From 2010 to 2014 he wrote the immensely popular military cartoon strip, "Power Point Ranger", poking fun at military life in the tradition of Beetle Bailey and Willy & Joe.
His books range from Military Sci-Fi to Space Opera to Detective to Fantasy, with a lot in between, and in 2017 two are finalists for the prestigious Dragon Awards. As of August 2017, Mr. Holmes has eighteen books and two novellas published.

As you should know by now I'm not a fan of short stories. The first two are shot through with errors and I just skimmed most of the other stories because of that. However the final story in the book grabbed my attention. It's well written and it was fun. I would recommend this book just for that last story.
I keep getting an error message though when trying to post my review, so you won't find the mistakes listed, or my review on Amazon.
5/10 That last story got the five out of ten. Would have enjoyed it being longer.

This was an excellent addition to the Fae Wars series. You want orcs? You want biker gangs? You want orcs in biker gangs? We've got that. This is some of the best urban fantasy I've read of late!
