A little out of date- but we take what we can get with professional books. I wouldn't mind seeing an updated copy. The ideas are much more geared toward a typical classroom. As a Media Specialist, I would be using every class time to have a meeting, and that is not feasible. I would be nice if the authors could have included a chapter meant for teachers who have a different schedule or set-up with students (not just Media, but EC, ESL, AIG, etc....)

I like this book because it gives ideas that you can use in your class immediately to build community.
