This is not your typical rock star hero book. Yes the heroine Ryan does find the hero Marcus trussed up like a Christmas Turkey when they first meet, but looks can be deceiving as she soon finds out.

Marcus, despite being a big star, is a dad first. The love he feels for his adorable kids jumps off the page. This just makes him more loveable. I wanted to hug him for being such a great dad. He shows that just because he does something he loves in singing and performing, it doesn't mean he doesn't

I really love it when a new author comes out strong with her first book and Farrah Taylor has managed to do just that with Love Songs for the Road. The story of a rock and roll legend who happens to be a devoted father fighting for custody of his children while trying to manage a road trip and not fall head over heels for his children’s new nanny. Intrigued? I was, and fell in love immediately w

Five stars to debut novelist Farrah Taylor for Love Songs for the Road, an anthem to romance.

The advice that tells a writer to depict what they know was taken to heart by first-time author Farrah Taylor. She's receiving a standing ovation from me for a contemporary romance novel that's not only a fun read, but also provides some insight into a musician's life on the road - and it's costs. Her book, Love Songs for the Road (Entangled Bliss), tells the story of rock star Marcus Troy, his two chil

This is a excellent debut novel from Farrah Taylor. Romantic, sweet and fun, Love Songs for the Road is a charming read filled with emotion.

Taking the winning formula of a sexy rock star hero, this is slightly different in that Marcus Troy is an amazing Dad to two very insightful, fun-loving cheeky youngsters who inject many of the moments at which you simply can't not laugh and smile at. Taking them on the road with him means they need a nanny and level-headed, sweet-natured Ryan is that lady.

Ramblings. December 2013 has been a great month for me in terms of my relationship with Netgalley. Ha ha ha. It was in that month when most of my requests for ARCs got approved. Woot woot! But here's something that I did which may come across as hilarious. With several months already registered in that site and not a single request that I made got approved, I did this random clicking on loads of titles and just testing if they'll approve it. Then one day when I checked my email address ... I was ...more

This book had a strong start--a real "meet cute" in which Marcus also manages to demonstrate his awesome dad abilities--loved it! Ryan wasn't too overwhelmed by her new boss's star power to stand up for herself, which was fantastic--for much of the book, she was a really strong character. I liked that she had such a solid understanding of kids and was able to get a handle on Marcus's two, Charlotte and Miles, right from the start.

As Ryan says at one point, "Adults were crazy; kids were a piece o
I really like the premise of Love Songs for the Road - a rock star, single father hires a nanny to help care for his children while on tour. I've read so many rocker books, but none with that particular angle. And true to form with the Bliss line, it is a sweet romance that made me smile a lot.

When I think to my reading experience, I can definitely say that I did like this story. The two main characters, Ryan and Marcus were likable characters with good intentions. And though I'm a mom, I somet

I am a total sucker for rock star love stories. Famous rocker falls for ordinary girl and I’m hooked. Love Songs for the Road has easily become one of my all time favorites! If you’ve read one rock star story, chances are the next one you read will be similar. If you’re looking for that bad boy rocker meets good girl and changes his ways story then this is not the story for you. This story is not like the others and that’s what makes this one special. Marcus is a famous rock star that is looking ...more

If you’re looking for irresistible read that will both give you a toothache from the sweetness, while still getting your heart racing in all the right spots, Love Songs for the Road by Farrah Taylor is the perfect book for you. I curled up with my Kindle and a cup of coffee and I didn’t move until the happily ever after was delivered. Ryan Evans is an adorable, and engaging protagonist. Marcus Troy is a recipe for dreamy, rock star perfection, with the perfect dash of realism. When Ryan finds he ...more

Can a nanny find love with a famous rock star while taking care of his kids? If you’re Ryan Evans, who actually got the opportunity, she’d give it a go. Marcus Troy is the rock star in question and he has two kids, a boy named Miles about 4, and a girl named Charlotte about 10.
After an unorthodox job interview, Ryan gets it. And she eventually becomes quite close to Miles and Charlotte and later on Marcus himself, once they got over the “I’m his boss/I’m his nanny” syndrome.

Entangled: Bliss by Farrah Taylor - way to go, for your first book, Ms Taylor! I really liked it! Good heavens, but you made the H so sexy - how you made a rockstar sexy without being a tool is great. I loved sweet Ryan, too, the Montana Nanny. Fun story. PG to PG13. The only reason I'd flip to PG13 is because there is some swearing (Gxx d@mn once, among others), and the open mouth kissing is briefly described.) Any sex stuff is "off screen" - she wakes in his bed, etc.

A sweet, heartwarming romance. A family story, rock star meets nanny. Not a racy read. I loved the main characters. Ryan, the nanny, knows what she wants in life, and will not be swayed by a celebrity. Marcus, the rock star, is such a good dad and will do anything for his family. There is laugh out moments, Marcus in his Christmas suit, still smiling. This is a debut book by Farrah Taylor, now on my list to read her next book.

A great book loved the characters and the character development. A hot rock star with two kids and a nanny what more would you want. I would totally recommend this book and author. I'm looking forward to reading more books by Farrah Taylor.

Love Songs for the Road is not my usual type of read, but I was in the mood to try something new. I was very pleasantly surprised! Ryan just got out of a relationship, is getting ready to start graduate school, and is looking for a summer job. Lucky for her, rock star Marcus Troy is looking for a full-time nanny for his upcoming tour. After a rough start, Ryan joins Marcus and his two kids on a tour across America. Love Songs for the Road. Farrah Taylor
Review from Jeannie Zelos Book reviews.
I do like contemporary romance, and especially ones with some kind of added extra – in this case the rock star background. Ryan needs a job, Marcus needs a nanny. I liked Ryan right from the start, when she walks out on Marcus as she feels he's not taking the interview seriously. (but to me Ryan is a boys name and every now and then I’d think “who's he?” ) She's a strong personality, sexy body and loving nature. The ki

This is a very cute story about a rock star, a nanny, two very cute kids, and a rockin' road trip. It was a little predictable at times, but that didn't detract from its enjoyment level. And the extra bits that did not follow the norm for this type of rocker book made it that much better. This was a very nice debut by Farrah Taylor.

Right from the first couple of chapters, I instantly liked Ryan. She has a good head on her shoulders and isn't suddenly distracted by a half-naked rock st

A couple of days ago I finished Love Songs for the Road by Farrah Taylor. So, I have been trying to digest my feelings about the book. I mean it was an all right read. I guess I should just dive into my thoughts.

First off, I love premise of a Rock Star falling for his nanny. I really thought there would a be a little more interaction between Marcus Troy and Ryan Evans. However, their relationship didn't really develop until closer to the end. I understand Marcus had to

In which the feeling of disappointment over how a Bliss novel did not satisfy me is overwhelming, the mental eye rolls numbered to over a hundred, the great struggle to finish the book didn't pay off, and the only thing that worked for me, really, is the cover.

Admittedly, the premise itself didn't really grab me at all—I picked up the book mostly out of loyalty to and trust in the Bliss line—but it got to the point I was just plain desperate for that elusive spider's thread…something, anything,

This was such a sweet story, one I had a lot of fun reading. Probably my favourite part of the book was how Marcus was such a different character than you would expect from a rock star love interest. Marcus is this thoughtful guy who loves playing music and loves his fans, but he's not into the rocker lifestyle. He’s all about his kids and keeping them happy and safe.

The chemistry between Ryan and Marcus was really fun right from the beginning. There’s a bit of a forbidden aspect to their relati

Love Songs for the Road was a sweet and heartwarming read.

Ryan and Marcus were fun and relatable characters, they made me laugh and swoon throughout the book.

Ryan Evans has been highly recommended for the nanny position rock star Marcus Troy has advertised for. From the moment Ryan turns up for the job interview I knew this was going to be a fun read.
Things don't start off very well but after some smooth talking and begging from Marcus Ryan decides to take the nanny job, afterall it was

I thought this books was a nice enough read but it wasn't all that exciting.

The characters meet, they interact, they get to know each other, there is some woe-be-me moments, they fall in love, deal with the evil exes, then they have a stupid - and totally unnecessary break up - then get back to together and live happily ever after fulfilling their dreams with all loose ends tied up with a pretty bow.

Falling in love with your nanny seems a little cliche, but rock star Marcus Troy doesn't really care how cliche it may be once he gets to know Ryan Evans. These two are a fantastic couple, but they can't be a couple because she's the nanny and he's the famous rock star. She wants a normal life, and he is constantly surrounded by press and fans. Farrah Taylor managed to keep these the central problem in their relationship without pounding on it so much that it got old or repetitive - it was cons ...more
