Half-fae, half-psi werewolf, Amber is always in trouble. A natural submissive, she desires mastering, but barely understands her true nature. Two powerful werewolves bond with her, resulting in a tri-mating that threatens everything they hold dear.

Warning: This story contains a fiercely dominant alpha male, his devastatingly irresistible second, and a good woman with more

Sizzling Hot!

Wow, get ready for a nice Cold Shower after this hot read. The story was addicting immediately from the first page as I learn all about Amber being promised to an Alpha Leader “Hunter” from another pack. The authors writing will have you glued to the pages and begging for more in the end.

The story develops into turmoil of true loyalty to one’s Alpha “Hunter”, one’s first Heat (Amber’s), and one’s love toward a mating bond (Tru’s friendship vs. Duty of an Alpha”Hunter”). Amber finds

Evanne knows how to write hot alpha men. This novel is packed with everything you can ask for in an erotic paranormal romance. It has action, magic, great characters. Once I started reading I couldn’t stop, great story and romance.

I loved the way the author brought around the romance between these three. With Amber being a bit different she tends to question things and the biggest thing she questions is Hunter. She doesn’t know him and tends to be a bit timid around him but that doesn’t last lo

Amber is about to go through her first heat and is about to meet the man, the Alpha she was promised to as a child, Hunter. Amber wonders if he will accept her and maybe even learn to love her. Amber has learned that her heritage has made her mostly undesirable – she is half fae and half psi werewolf. Those are two peoples who hate each other.

Hunter is on the way to claim Amber in time for her first heat. Along with him are a few of his trusted men and his Gamma, Tru. All of them head to Amber’s

I had really wanted to enjoy this story considering the first few chapters were unbelievably crafted, created, and beautifully written. I was hooked, nearly addicted but my appreciation for the tale slowed when the menage began.

Amber is a deeply disturbed woman. She has been abused by her Alpha father because she is half-fae and according to werewolves, fae are evil. She had been forced to hide who she really was but a fateful attack on her home and her pack had opened up new doors. Entering tho
A Promise of Amber is a nice addition to the Treeland Pack Tales. The characters were entertaining, the plot was well-written and the sex is steamy hot. Amber is very sweet and I thoroughly enjoyed her character. You can definitely tell she has not had an easy life. Hunter and Tru are very sexy although I do think Tru’s character was better detailed than Hunter’s which made me like him more. When they three are together, things are definitely hot, hot, hot! The challenges they faced to eventuall ...more

I love a great erotica story that is full of paranormal beings and controversial obstacles. A Promise of Amber delivers that and more. The way Ms. Lorraine incorporates prejudicial subjects and emotional aftershocks just made this tale all the more noteworthy. The abuse that Amber has to endure just to survive in her own household is so heartbreaking and yet it gives us the chance to see why underneath her submissive nature, the she-wolf had a backbone made of steel. On top of that you have the ...more
A really enjoyable follow-up to A Taste of Scarlet that I read a couple weeks ago. I'm loving being introduced to all these pack members. LOL

Nicely written and very well thought out.
After complete delight with A Taste of Scarlet, this second book in the series was a disappointment. I still enjoy Evanne Lorraine's lyrical and descriptive style, but the plotline in this story was disjointed.

While I love stories about were shifters, and can tolerate stories about vampires (especially when they are secondary characters), this story got goofy with goblins and all kinds of other evil mystical creatures that don't even have names. Because the conflict could have been with humans

Evanne started writing for publication sometime in 2003(she's not very conscientious about dates). After a few years of fevered creation and summary rejection, Dangerous Surrender was released by New Concepts Publishing in 2007. Since then she's become a sporadic best seller, written a few more books, and moved to
