I love a darling lost-love romance. Chase feels that he missed out by not taking things to the next level with Clare before his LDS mission. Clare feels that any relationship potential with Chase is long in the past. A chance meeting during a short visit home for Christmas could possibly change all the regrets, but fate doesn't seem to be helping them out.

This is a short, sweet romance that is perfect for the holidays and left me wanting more.

Chase and Clare have always loved each other, but have never communicated it well. He confessed his feelings for her right before his mission but then only wrote her three measly letters during the two years he was gone. When he got back from his mission she wasn't around. For three years. Five years after that confession of his feelings, a chance meeting in a hardware store gives Chase 48 hours to win his second chance with Clare. Despite the obstacles, he is not going to let this chance get aw ...more

25 page story about taking a chance on the one that got away.

Characters are LDS but there is no preaching. All that is mentioned is Chase served a mission.

This is a cute quick read, filled with descriptions and info to help you know exactly what you needed to. Chase and Clare haven't seen each other for years and thought any kind of relationship was lost. When they happen to see each other while Clare was home for Christmas the sparks were still there. This short story was well written and I definitely enjoyed!

Super short, super sweet

Super short. Crazy fast paced, sweet, and completely cliche of the LDS culture. I was surprised he didn't just pull out a ring and propose right there! Hahaha!

Such a sweet cute read. Chase and Clare are a cute couple. Time may have passed but maybe it was meant to happen like this way.
Nice book therapy when you need sunshine in your day or to end it. Short, sweet, and swoony romantic second chance holiday romance novelette. The falling in love and all the hub bub drama misunderstanding that normally separates the hero and heroine and takes up 90% of a full length romance novel was instead briefly seamlessly given to the reader in past reflection at the very beginning, leaving only resolution of conflict, joyous reunification, and the happily ever after. Why I love novelettes ...more

This little novella is short and sweet, and all about giving love a second chance.

Goodnight Kiss is a clean little romance (only a few chapters in length) that leaves the reader curious as to what happens next for Chase and Clare.

I enjoyed this quick read. However, I feel that this book has a very narrow audience base. It is about a boy and a girl who each grew up on a farm in a small town in Wyoming; in a place where things like family, faith and hard work are valued.

This book is definitely writ

This was a cute short story. Short stories are nice for those moments when you don't have a lot of time to read, but still want a quick HEA fix.

Clare and Chase were friends in high school, two days before leaving on his LDS mission he confesses to liking Clare. Then he leaves and she barely heard from him while he's gone. She moves on with her life and five years later they bump into each other again. Perfect opportunity for a second chance! Again, just a cute quick read. I liked it.

This was a sweet little novella. The male love interest, is a returned missionary, for The Church of Jesus Christ of Later-day Saints. He tells his friend he has feelings for her, just before he leaves on a flight to go on his mission. Then he only writes to this young woman, three times in two years. She leaves the country, to avoid seeing the returned missionary. Five years later, they are both in their home town, and have a second chance to express their feelings for each other.

Love the short and sweet ones. They really pack a wallop! The characters were well defined for so short. Great kiss!

During her early years of reading, Ranee` S. Clark devoured fantasy books, which continued into her adulthood—since she often believes that a well-written romance novel is a delightful fantasy. Though raising three boys can sometimes hamper both romance with her own Mr. Charming and her writing, she tries to get a little of both in every day. And most of the time she succeeds. ...more
