I read this book more than ten years ago and was profoundly disturbed. The fact that "canned" hunting still takes place in my country is an indictment on our government that it has yet to legalise against it. We advertise ourselves in the tourist industry as the country to visit when you want to experience the beauty of Africa, but hidden behind all those attractive posters is an industry that has not raised its voice against "canned" and trophy hunting.
