Okay, so there is a lot of really elaborate and impressive tricks that are _WELL_ beyond what I am currently able to do listed in this book. I do want to eventually be able to do all of them

Right now, the goal is to just practice doing sleepers until I can do them for long enough to consistently do some of the beginner tricks. Maybe also look into getting some different Yo-Yos based upon some things this book mentioned for how they function/work

But there is a lot of "cat's cradle" type stuff... but there are also other tricks I'd not have considered. There is also a fancy way to get the yoyo to wind up quickly that I kind of also want to practice

But hey... a decent avenue towards not being so darn terrible at hand-eye coordination type stuff

I was given this book in exchange for an honest review.

If you are a beginner this book would be perfect for you. If you want harder more in depth tricks this is not the book for you. As intriguing as the history of the yo-yo is, I'm not really sure why it was added to a trick book.

A decent little book, but I am clueless. I am not good at following the visual directions. I suppose it explains the tricks all right, but it was not particularly helpful to me.
