This book is laid out in a series of steps, as you follow each step the plan will come together culminating in a perfect design where everything that should have been considered will have been considered. The authors Peter Clarke and Mark Quinn have over 25 years experience building conservatories and Sunrooms and this experience shines throughout the book. The chapters follow a sequence where firstly the house design is considered, then a series of thought provoking questions are posed to make sure the reader is considering all the important issues relating to the design. There is also very important advice in the chapters relating to getting value for money, signing the deal and what to watch out for. All issues relating to planning permission are laid out in simple and easy to read format. There is great advice in relation to getting ready before the project starts, what to expect during the build and what you need to consider after the build. The chapter on decorating and furnishing gives useful information of making the best of the sunlight. This is a must read for anyone considering building a Conservatory, Sunroom or Orangery on their home.
