Textile Techniques in Metal: For Jewelers Textile Artists & Sculptors

Rate this book
Perhaps Arline Fisch can't teach readers how to spin straw into gold, but she can show them how to weave with silver, knit with brass, crochet with copper, and braid with gold of various hues. With step-by-step instructions and how-to photos, she explains how to work each fiber technique in metal wire or strip. Each technique is illustrated with examples of handsome jewelry by accomplished designers.

I looked through the 1996 edition that has this cover.
It has info and instructions for weaving, crocheting, knitting, braiding, basketry, knotting and lace using metal wire and sheets. Well illustrated. There's also a gallery of work from various artists.
A beautiful reference book.
