This is a picture book about Rosa Parks, where she grew up and her story of the Civil Rights Movement. The book highlights when she got arrested and what Rosa did after she got arrested to stand up for herself and others.

Beautiful illustrations alongside a tragically beautiful story. I read this book to my class of third and fourth grade students on the morning of the 2021 Inauguration just a day after Martin Luther King Jr. Day and my students were VERY interested in dissecting this book from all angles!
