Doormat heroine, unforgivable irredeemable hero. Never reading this author. Hero with OW while being with h 3/4 book. He's verbally abusive. I felt disgusted reading this book. How could an author condone the actions done by the H ? I've stopped reading authors who condone the mistreatment of women by men.

The story was nice and everything, but Tony just didn't work for me.. I mean he was all Hot Alpha Male and all but still..

What can I say...I love an alpha male...but I HATE a cheater. It ruined the entire book for me. He didn't stop cheating until almost 3/4 of the book!!!!! He did it because he didn't know the truth. I loved 'Lexi, Baby' and I adored 'Adam,Enough Said' but I did not love this one and I think it is because of Tony 's character. He was vile in places and I struggled to find any redeeming features. I did not like Lexi, Baby so I have no real reason for reading this book other than I was stuck in a plane on a 15 hour flight. Beggars can't be choosers, right?

Unfortunately this story fell short from my expectations.Tony was too much of a disappointment. He effed up one too many times and the last time was so bad I almost couldn't finish it I was so mad. I loved all the characters from book one but this just did not work for me. Tony grovelled and begged for forgiveness to Trish but he never redeemed himself in my opinion. Ugh.

Despite the editing issues, I enjoyed this read because I loved to hate Tony. He was an ass. A HUGE ASS!! How and why Trish put up with his ways I will never understand.
There's no cliffhanger but it does leave off where you can't wait for the third installment because it's gonna be Adam.

I remember reading the first book in this series literally YEARS ago. I remember loving the angst in that story and the hero's super alpha attitude.
Years later, I still love my men rude and possesive, so this second installment was a win too.

Overall, a desperate read. I expected something hot, smart, emotionally charged. I got overplayed high school drama, where two main characters have zero respect for each other, constantly fight and think that that's "passion", only because they both are so dysfunctional, nobody in the right mind would want to have a relationship with with either of them. ...more
