An informative explanation of how and why to add or subtract things in a room to make it more appealing. Full of before and after pictures, it explains concepts such as negative space, bringing the eye upwards and balance.

Lots of great ideas on how to rearrange what you already have. How to do some projects yourself with very little time investment. How to look at your room in a new way, and figure out the purpose you want.

This book is full of little tips and tricks for decorating. I appreciated that most of them focus on using what you already have.
