Does it always rain in the Rain Forest? is a great book for students who have never been exposed to this topic before. It goes into depth about what you could find in the Rain Forest and answers many frequently asked questions that students most likely have. The pictures in this book are beautiful and look very realistic as to what you would find in the Rain forest. This is a great book for students to be able to follow along with and learn more facts about the Rain Forest.
I would use this book in a reading lesson by having this be a whole group lesson. I would use this book when we are talking about topics involving the Rain forest and would tie this in with my Science lesson as well. One TEK that would go perfect with this text would be Science 4.2(Science Investigating/Reasoning book investigations. This TEK sums up the purpose of this book and how it could be perfectly used for reading and Science lessons.
