This Echo book is dedicated to the children, families, and communities affected by congenital heart disease (CHD), and to HeartKids, the only national not-for-profit organisation solely focused on supporting and advocating for all people impacted by childhood heart disease- one of the largest causes of infant death in Australia.
All proceeds from every book sold, go directly to the charity HeartKids Australia.
Lisa Van Der Wielen is a Teacher and Author from Perth, Western Australia. Her passions for education and writing led her to become a Children’s Author, with her first book being published in 2017. Her books support the charities Perth Children’s Hospital Foundation, Ronald McDonald House and HeartKids. Her love for the beach, nature and dogs, provide her with inspiration to write poetry and stories that inspire.
