Love Heals is the conclusion to Anthony and Leopold’s story from Love Hurts. This book wrecked me in the best way. I have so many feelings about this book. I think the author did such an amazing job of portraying the effects of PTSD on someone’s mind with their fight for learning how to be loved. Leo has so much love to give but struggles so so much with receiving love from those around him. I felt a roller coaster of emotions watching Tony and Leo’s story unfold, and I fell in love with them even more than Love Hurts. I love that the author shows the difficulty of PTSD rather than glosses over the effects it has on the mind. Ultimately both characters evolve as stronger individuals for themselves in order to become stronger for each other and everyone around them. It’s just a beautiful story.

The conclusion of the fire and ice series was epic. The love between Anthony and Leo had me crying throughout this book. The battles Leo overcame with Athony by his side was so heartwarming. I loved reading the story of how Anthony and Leo became a couple and Tara did amazing job pulling you into their Story. This is Tara’s best yet! On the heels of the heartbreaking prequel Love Hurts, Tara gives us the redemption arch we so desperately needed for our main characters Anthony and Leopold. It is beautifully written and the story unfolds so naturally. It’s prequel Love Hurts is a great place to start the Fire & Ice series altogether since it takes place ahead of the Book 1 timeline start.

WHAT A CONCLUSION to the Fire and Ice storyline. Anthony and Leo are staples in everyone else’s stories and they are characters you come to love so much but being able to see their story come together was really amazing.

The two characters have gone through so much and from reading the other stories, we know they will have a HEA but seeing it come together really makes the whole journey worthwhile.

As someone who has had her fair share of bad history, I related with these characters in a way I haven’t before… and I’ve found myself in all the other characters Tara has written.

The author really writes characters you can relate to but in this story, she took it beyond anything she has done before and I am so excited for the other readers to enjoy the conclusion of Fire and Ice.

While I knew that their story would end happily because of being in Alex and Natalie’s story but it was absolutely amazing to get their story. This is the perfect ending to the fire and ice series. Thank you Tara for allowing me to be apart of the journey!

This is an amazing conclusion Tony and Leo we get to see more things from their perspective along with so much growth. There were still some difficulties to face through which isn’t surprising considering how much these two strong characters went through. I very much appreciate this book and personally love how Tony never gives up on Leo no matter the situation. He is always right there ready to assist in anyway Leo is comfortable with. Leo learns a lot in this read on ways how things should be in any relationship that consent means everything no matter how small or big the situation is. With that being said there are some steamy moments alongside very heartfelt moments too! It still felt unpredictable at times and for sure still a tear jerking book but a wonderful story nonetheless I couldn’t turn the pages fast enough! Lots of changes in this book you tell these loves see there worth better and self worth among others! I love the amazing loving ending this author writing is super great her books are always more than just reading! They are always pull you in with all emotions and makes the characters seem like you’re real life friends by the time it’s all said in done! Can’t wait to see what other in depth stories she comes up with now! The Fire and ice series and it’s amazing strong characters with some sassy will always be a keeper! The most definitely won’t die this will be a series I will reread often alongside the other books I very much think this book is fantastic and is a page turner alongside other great things to explore! Please continue with carefulness there are still some things that could be difficult for some readers:) Tony and Leo is the definition of true love and with patience, understanding, compassion there is goodness that can come out terrible experiences that feel like it’s never ending.!

We could title this “Leo Continues to Make Bad Decisions.”

There are several times throughout the book that sentences are repeated, either directly after or shortly thereafter, leading me to believe it needed another beta read. It kept taking me out of the story because I would think I was rereading a paragraph by accident but no, it was repeated.

Even though the premise of the last book says you can start with it, there were characters in here that have their own books and as I read, it became apparent it would have been better to start at the beginning.

The BDSM elements felt forced. Leo calls Tony “Master” even though Krew made him do this and it doesn’t seem to phase Leo at all. Wouldn’t it have made more sense to call Tony “Sir”? Wouldn’t there be PTSD with this? And we don’t really see their D/s relationship much at all.

The book plods along but I don’t know that much actually happened. Again Tony is the stand out character in this book as well. I think this writing style isn’t for me but I hope others truly enjoy their story.

I'll start by saying I received this book as an ARC. I really enjoyed the conclusion of Tony and Leo's story. The compassion and unwavering support Tony gives to Leo is amazing. The horrors that poor Leo has had to endure is heartbreaking. This story shows that love and support, as well as true quality medical care for Mental Illness can make a difference in a person's life. The connection these two have after all they've been through is remarkable. It is good to see the light that came from their darkness. A moving and emotional read. The title is very fitting. . . LOVE HEALS.

This is a painful yet beautiful story of how love can conquer all.
Be warm there is vioIence, r@pe, degradation, and other situations that may cause triggers to more sensitive readers. That being said, there is also beauty in the healing of those deep wounds due to the kindness and love of a broken soul also in need of healing.
