I loved it, like I love ALL of Parish's books in this series. The illustrations are spot on and the stories, are very simple, yet engaging.

As usual, Amelia Bedelia loves helping others but misunderstands what exactly they mean by what they say. Cute story of her attempt to cheer up her mom.

A good story that stays true to the original character and plot, but has a nicer and more realistic result.

Amelia Bedelia has a fun day brightening things up for her mother who is feeling blue, even though as Amelia notices, she didn't look 'blue.' Perfect story with simple sentences for beginning readers.
