Laurel will do anything to save her Santorini inn from the powerful Damon family, and that includes manipulating Andrew Damon, the man they’ve sent to get her off the property. Andrew might have a reputation for being irresistible to women, but she won’t have any problem resisting him. This is war, after all, and the Damons drew their weapons first.

Andrew has spent most of

Playing the Playboy was the second book in the Heirs of Damon series centering on Andrew, the carefree “playboy” brother of Harrison. It was a light, sweet, and entertaining romance.

Laurel is prepared for an all out war with the Damon’s when they make a claim to her beloved inn in Santorini. She’s willing to use whatever weapon she has, even if it includes seducing Andrew who is set to arrive and meet with her. Laurel doesn’t realize how affected she’d be by his charismatic and sweet pe

While reading this book, I was going for the noncommittal 3 stars.
I had liked Andrew in the first book, he seemed like the incarnation of the term "Playboy". That aloof character fool of charm that you always forgive his failures and mistakes. The eternal teenager.
But I really started to like him when he didn't turn his back in his current failure and tried to finish something to the end for once. Of course the reason for this change was Laurel, the heroine of this book who maybe appears at fi

Saving My Home

I was absolutely thrilled to now receive book two, Heirs of Damon. Written by the amazing Noelle Adams. Another exciting story of seduction and complete romance. I was just couldn’t put this book down!!

Laurel Grayson had planned to investigate the entire Damon family. They were one of the richest companies in America today. She was now trying to stop the selling it. It was a gift from her partner who had previously died. That was the main reason she why she had to

PLAYING THE PLAYBOY is the second instalment in Noelle Adams contemporary, adult Heirs of Damon series focusing on the Damon family heirs and their uncle/father Cyrus Damon. This is Andrew and Laurel’s story. Although this is the second in the series, it can be read as a stand alone without too much difficulty. The major players from the first storyline play a small role in PLAYING THE PLAYBOY as the family works together to claim what they believe is rightfully theirs.

The storyline premise focu

I was looking forward to reading what and who Andrew will eventually find.

From the first book, we got a glimpse of Andrew and who doesn't want to read about a playboy being tamed? In the first installment, he was playful and didn't bother restraining any of his actions because he didn't have a lot to answer for, but at the same time we saw that he was a good person deep inside.

In this second installment, we see a more responsible Andrew, who takes a bit of load off Harrison's plate since he is

This is the second book in the Heirs of Damon series. The first was Seducing the Enemy, which was phenomenal. If you haven’t read it yet, I strongly suggest you do. Playing the Playboy is a standalone, so you don’t have to have read Seducing the Enemy to enjoy this one, but I recommend you do, because it is a real can’t-miss book.

Often a second book in a series is a letdown, but not here. The story of Harrison’s brother Andre

This was fairly typical romance novel. The heroine, Laurel, had a plan to save the inn she owned (or thought she owned) by tricking the guy who was coming to talk business with her. The guy, Andrew, was not what she expected and she ended up falling for him. She felt guilty for her attempt at initially tricking him, but didn't get to come clean about it before he found out. Naturally, Andrew was mad and they broke up. They couldn't stand to be apart and worked things out and ended up together, a ...more

Annoying, frustrating and just not what I expected
Wasn't as good, not very interesting until the end and the girl was just too annoying and dumb. Very selfish and not interesting most of the time. Wish it would have been better. Not the best work compared to the first book. The story was ok.

Laurel owns a little inn in Santorini which the Damon family have now claimed they own. The inn was a gift from her now deceased husband as a wedding present.

Laurel has lived her life knowing she can only rely on herself to keep things going. Even her husband had money problems that he didn't tell her about until it was too late. She has had to bring herself up from the age of 17 where she worked in a strip club to earn money bef

A person should never judge a person until the full story is heard. Just because an investigation is done and documents are raised doesn’t mean anything, every situation has an explanation.

This is the second installment of Heirs of Damon series and it was a heart breaking read. Yes I do have to say it was a little slow at the beginning but it was good because Laurel and Andrew were getting to know each other. Only that they were dancing around the big issue the main reason why A

This is turning into one of my to-go, favorite series ever! Like Seducing The Enemy, Playing the Playboy was yet another addicting, super romantic and heartwarming read that made me feel all the feels! I absolutely fell in love with this story the minute I finished the first chapter and I know it sounds very over-exaggerated, but I don't know how else to describe my feelings. It literally felt like the perfect read from the first page, from the romance to the humor to

In Playing the Playboy we meet Laurel who is in a bad situation; she is a widow who didn’t have the best upbringing, and was managing the bar in a seedy strip joint when she met an older man who she fell in love with. After they married he gave her a hotel in Greece. This was about the only good thing he did for her – over the time of their marriage she lost one illusion after another about him and he ended up bankrupt after his debts caught up with him. Now he is dead and the Damons are saying ...more

Playing the Playboy is the second story in the Heirs of Damon series, but the third one I have read. I really enjoyed book three and four and this one was good but just not as good as them. I didn't like Andrew as much as I liked Jonathan and Ben's stories.

Playing the Playboy was a good read, I did enjoy it, but it was just a light read for me. I didn't get as attached to the characters and the storyline was light fun. Laurel is living

I had the pleasure of reading the story of our H/h Andrew and Laurel and they are one hot couple, in exchange for a honest review. Andrew has come to Santorini Greece, a small tropical island, representing his families company to take back the small Inn that Laurel was given by her deceased husband. Laurel has researched this powerful family online and knows she is dealing with the rich playboy who was into extreme sports and serial dating and not the business mongrel the other brothers are. She ...more
I really enjoyed this continuation of the Damon family story. We met Andrew in the first book Seducing the Enemy. Now that Harrison is stepping back from some of his responsibilities in the family business it has fallen to Andrew to take up the slack. Andrew has developed a reputation for not stick it out when things get hard and just walking away rather than asking for help. Laurel Garrison loves her inn on the island of Santorini and cannot figure out why Damon Enterprises is making a claim on ...more

Another enjoyable read from Ms. Adams... Although I have to say I didn't like this story as much as the other two in the series. I just didn't connect as much... I still liked it though. Andrew is a sexy playboy who's never had time to buckle down and be serious about his job... He mostly just likes to play. But he finally gets to experience what it's like to have more responsibilities with the family business and it brings him to a hotel in Greece where he meets Laurel. Their romance was sexy, ...more

I received an ARC copy of Playing the Playboy from the author. I loved the first book in this series - Seducing the Enemy in which we met Harrison Damon and briefly met Andrew Damon. In this book Andrew Damon is the brother of choice. Andrew is a fun loving playboy when we first meet in and is in this book as well. He travels to Greece to secure a property his family owns. On the way he comes across a women in need of help. What he doesn't know is that women is Laurel the widow he is to take the ...more
I got this early and seriously enjoyed it. I was given an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Being in control, and always having a plan has worked great for Laurel up until now. Her Inn is about to be taken away due to legal issues and the company coming to take it away is sending their playboy nephew to do it. She comes up with the plan to use his playboy ways against him to keep her Inn. Will it work?

It works great up until the moment she meets him and she realizes she can't do it. Andrew

Thank you Net Galley and the publisher for this ARC copy in exchange for an honest review.

I think Noelle Adams is an excellent author and I always seem to really enjoy her stories. Even though this is the second book in the series (yes I seem to have gone out of order, but will go back to the first), you did not feel lost, they can essentially be stand alone books, you just wont know the details behind Andrew's brother Harrison and his wife Marietta.

I think that both characters, Laurel and And

Like the first book in the Heirs of Damon series, the hero and heroine start the journey on opposite sides of the negotiating table though the rules of engagement were subtler and more intriguing. A woman determined to protect what she believes is rightfully hers through all means at her disposal and a reluctant negotiator fueled by the desire to please his family. What complicates things is the spark that neither one expects to

This is my second Heirs of Damon book. I really liked the first one. But this one was even better.

Andrew is a good guy who hasn't quite found his place in life--and he has the specter of his older brother Harrison (who is the definition of overachiever) looming. But Andrew just seems like such a genuinely great (and hot) guy that you want him to find his purpose--and cutthroat businessman is not likely to be it.

Laurel is the woman who points him toward his purpose. She's had a hard life and secr

This was a very sweet story that shows the length people will go to when their world is tumbling down. Laurel knows that people refer to her as a trophy wife but they don't understand that she did love her husband. Andrew knows he is attracted to Laurel but he ultimately wants what is best for his family and their company.

This book takes place on a beautiful Greek island, where Laurel's little inn is built right into the cliffs. Noelle Adams wove an incredibly sweet story, with just enough pass

Arc from netgalley

I love the first book and so is this one. I love the hero from the start (from seducing the enemy). Andrew is a fun loving, adventures, to die for brother in the Damon family. Fearless in hardcore sports but fearful in commitment and responsibility, his uncle sent him to Greece to handle some trouble in Damon's property. Otw he met a damsel in distress or (so he thought) having a flat tyre. Little that he know, the meeting is set up on purpose by our heroine, Laurel. The heroin

Another hot, cocky Damon. Andrew is the playboy brother of Harrison in the Heirs of Damon series. He has just begun to take on more responsibility in the family business. At first she decides to seduce Andrew but when she starts to fall for him everything changes. Before she can come clean with her original plans ...more
