Destiny Dawning is the final part in The Vessel Games series by E.J. Eden. This dystopian series is a nice read so far. There are lots of characters who each stand for something else and I enjoyed every one of their stories. I was really looking forward to reading this last part in the series. What adventures will await?
This book is all about saving New London and fighting for your own freedom. Each book in this series has a strong message, as does this book. It teaches you to never lose hope and never give up fighting for those you love. I really liked the little touches of romance within the adventures and fights.
It is a nice build up from the first two and I feel like I was more invested now. Just when you think things can’t get worse or more twists coming .. just a good read overall. I received this as an ARC in exchange for an honest review!
The story continues as Chloe, Will, Caleb, and Karina try to figure out a way to defeat the Commander. Val joins the group and things move super fast in the last book of the trilogy. I love the way the author keeps us at the edge of our books. I was sad to see the story end and would love to see a spin off showing more of the events after, including the rebuilding of society and how they repopulate. Definitely recommend this series.

This was the perfect conclusion to the story. The character arcs were very satisfying in this series with characters learning from their past mistakes while also continuing to be imperfect. I really love that no one character could complete their story on their own and they all had short comings and strengths that complimented each other.
Overall this was an excellent ending to an excellent trilogy!.

I loved this 3rd book in the Vessel Games series! It was suspenseful and kept me eager to read the next chapter. I thought all the character development was perfect and I’m just so in love with the series and the characters! Actually really enjoyed how everything came together for the ending!.

A wonderful conclusion to a trilogy that I found to be page turning. I read this in one sitting and felt that it was the perfect end to a series full of twists and strong character development. I would love a little novella from this series - just something to keep us going! Congratulations on a great series!.

Overall it was a satisfying conclusion to the series. Full of action and twists till the very end. It could do with some better proof reading , for example, in a fight scene the weapon changes back and forth. “Ivar came into view from above her, his axe plunging down to meet her face. She rolled out of its reach with barely a millisecond to spare. His sword slashed at her as she rolled, and Chloe cried out in pain.” There were continuity errors like that in the book but it didn’t ruin the entire experience. I also have to be that person being that I’m Norse pagan she claimed Thor as the god of war. Thor was an amazing warrior so the clan could still be named after him but the actual God of War is Tyr. That being out of my system now lol I did love the clash of Christianity versus Paganism. My standout characters by far are Chloe and Caleb. The growth in Chloe and her drive really made the 3 books in my opinion. She deserved her ending although not saying goodbye and never talking to the rest again broke my heart. As for Caleb, I loved him from the moment we started seeing him after the games. If only we all could find a man like that!

WOW!! What an intense and adrenaline packed conclusion to this amazing series.
Getting thrown right back into where we left off, my heart was once again lodged in my throat, and I think I bit off all of my nails over the anxiety that this story was giving me. There was no way I was putting this book down until I got to the end. I needed to know what the hell was going to happen.
Chloe has become much fiercer and stronger than ever, but she still shows moments of vulnerability, innocence and frustration with everything happening around her. There were moments when I couldn’t stand her reasoning behind her angry outbursts, but then I remembered that she is still very young and was forced into this situation because of all of the wickedness and corruption in her kingdom.
All of the other characters continued to show us how strong, determined and resilient they were and that they would fight for what they believed in. We don’t see too much of Octavia, but what we do see of her, she continues to remind us how fierce and badass she is even when faced with the unthinkable.
The imagery and world building was amazing, the characters had me laughing and crying, and the plot had so many little twists and turns that it kept me on the edge of my seat continually hoping that there was going to be a happy ending for all of them.
This conclusion was well written and gives us readers an ending that feels just right for all these amazing characters that we have grown to love.
The Commander has taken the throne. Chloe and her friends are on the run as the Commander will stop at nothing to wipe out the Royal family. Chloe wonders if maybe this is for the best and maybe she shouldn't return. But then she hears that the Commander has restarted the Vessel Games and that all men, women, and children must fight for their lives. Horrified by this Chloe must find help to take back New London.
Well this was all and more than I hoped for the characters. Faced with insurmountable odds Chloe, Karina, and Will prove how strong they are together. The resilience these three showed was admirable. And personally I am glad Karina chose Caleb. He shocked me last book by becoming my favorite so I'm glad they have their HEA. As for Chloe she annoyed me a bit. She was so reckless sometimes but her choice at the end was definitely the best thing for her. There were some things I still didn't understand like why the acid rain only affected the city. In the hurricane it didn't seem to be an issue. Otherwise I enjoyed the series and look forward to what the author has coming next.

No better way to end a series. When I say that I was hooked, it wouldn't be a lie. Being aware that the book is ending, and the characters you've grown close to are as well is sad, but EJ Eden does a great job of making that easier. I was so worried that throughout the story our main characters would begin to fall off, or possibly pass, but thankfully there was none of that.
Chloe seems to have grown from the rambunctious princess she was in the first story. She matures significantly, and how she determines that New London needs to flourish is great. Will, though not my favorite of characters, still has that endearing quality to him, and is such a savior. Karina, comes into her own by the last book, and of course, has Caleb (my favorite character) to help her along. Their relationship isn't what you would expect it to be from the beginning, but still you fall in love with them. Octavia remains the best of beasts throughout.
This series is so great, and the dynamic between everyone, as well as the world built around it so so great and wonderfully thought out.
I can't wait to see what EJ Eden comes out with next.
"Destiny Dawning" is the action-packed finale of "The Vessel Games", and this book had me at the edge of my seat at times. There's a lot happing in this third book: new relationships are being forged, others are being strengthened. Characters need to band together to overpower those who use their power for the worst, and enemies both new and old need to be met head on. All of that together creates an action-packed finale, with some twist that were expected, while others were not.
I believe the author of this series created some amazing characters; none of them are perfect, but they all fight with their heart and soul, and together they become a force to be reckoned with. I wasn't entirely sure what to expect when I started this series, but I enjoyed watching these characters learn and grow, and together become wat this post-apocalyptic world truly needed. There was some interesting world building, unexpected twists and turns along the way and a young adult storyline with some spicy scenes (MF and FF) spicing it all up. Definitely a series I would like to recommend, and I'm quite curious to find out what this author will come up with next.
Destiny Dawning (titel has been changed from Dynasty Dawning) by E.J. Eden is the long awaited finale of The Vessel Games series, a series with touches of the Hunger Games. I enjoyed the first book immensely and the second one a bit less, but I was still eager to read the third book as I wanted to see how it all would end.
Princess Chloe has lost her throne and is on the run, but is determined to win it all back. She has no plan, the Games are more brutal, her people are starving and all seems lost. But then an unexpected ally comes along.
As in the previous books there is a lot of action and it made me want to go on reading. When you think things are going great, there is some unexpected twist. I love how E.J. Eden invented the enemy coming to the rescue. During the series you get some bond with the characters, especially Chloe, the princess who wants the best for her people. All characters are more developed during the whole series, some you hate, some you like and some you love. The writing style is nice, flowing, but sometimes a bit off, in that there is a lot of swearing going on and in my view that is not necessary at all. It was the same in book two and this dystopian story would have been nice even without that. But that is personal, of course. But then again, the author mentioned in her foreword that there are lots of things going on and also being said, I was warned and still read the book. The ending was surprising in a good way. All lose ends are tied up nicely.
Dynasty Dawning by E.J. Eden is a good ending to a great action packed Hunger Games style series, with interesting worldbuilding and likable characters, although it’s sometimes a bit brutal and spicy. But life can also be that.
The Vessel Games: Dynasty Dawning bloomed extraordinarily. I fell in deeper with the characters I grew to love and seen the passion. In a way Dynasty Dawning gives you the closure and peace you would want out of a trilogy. The plot was executed wonderfully. I had to many favorite characters in this one to choose because they are so important. However I was able to choose a favorite quote spoken by Hans, “It doesn’t. It means little treasure. That’s what you are, Chloe. You are precious to those people you’re protecting. And not because you are a princess but because you are a warrior.” I received this as an Arc for free and left this review voluntarily. I want to thank the author for the opportunity.
Omg! This ending was everything I wanted and more! I can't give anything away because it should be enjoyed and discovered over the course of the book. I can say I genuinely enjoyed this series. The conclusion was the best of them all. Chloe annoyed me some through this book, but she grew into the amazing powerful woman she was always meant to be and the woman she was from book 1. She lost so much, but she never wavered. She never gave up. Her friendship with Will made this entire series better. Karina and Caleb are perfect together and so glad that they ended up together. They deserve to be happy. Plus Will and Marie are the cutest couple!! The ending, I just love! It's ugh so sweet! I want more but I'm so happy that everyone is where they need to be
I've really enjoyed this series, it was one that left me thinking about it after finishing each book. Theres just so many great characters, plenty of action and an interesting world to discover - it keeps you hooked!
In Destiny Dawning, there's so much that happens! Chloe's dream of making New London a better place for the people, to stop the Vessel Game - Well, Chloe and her friends have an impossible task and are seriously out numbered - but one thing I do love about Chloe and her friends - They don't give up just because something is going to be hard!
‘Never play nice’ When it comes to saving yourself and others from tyranny and terrorism, tell Miss Manners to take a back seat. Don’t be a “Marquess of Queensberry” when your enemy is acting against all ethical behaviors. Lives are at stake and a gal’s gotta do what a gal’s gotta do.
The author spends time on educating readers about leadership. I think these are great takeaways that we can use IRL: Positions of leadership should be earned. Challenge each other to become better people and therefore better leaders. Leaders need to make decision quickly and decisively when ‘uncertainty means death’.
Fave action line: ‘…get to kill pirates before breakfast.’
May we all have the courage to stand up against tyranny. If you need some inspiration for that, read this series.
Destiny Dawning is the final to The Vessel Games and like the others i didn't want to put it down from start to finish! There are plenty of plot twists and the character's all came into their own. I was on the edge of my seat and boy what a journey it has been. It bought out so many emotions but i have been invested in the lives of chloe, james, Octavia, will and many many more. I am truly sad that this series is over. I really could feel myself fall into this world and truly engross myself in these characters. I can't wait for what comes next! 😀
I immensely enjoyed this final installment of The Vessel Games series by EJ Eden! All of the storylines the author laid out throughout each book came to a perfect conclusion at the end. I really loved reading about Chloe’s journey and the unique blend of elements that the author wove into the world-building of this dystopian land. I cannot wait to read the next series by EJ Eden, and I’m so excited to see what is in store for us readers!
This one and Rebel Rising are my favorite two out of the series. I am so sad that this series is over! I fell in love with all of the characters. Caleb is my favorite though. I am absolutely in love with him. Add him to my list of fictional boyfriends lol! Honestly this whole series was amazing and I’m excited to read more from E.J. I love her style of writing and the way I can easily get hooked on her stories!
Great conclusion to this series with all story-lines coming to a conclusion. The world building was great and the characters endings were wonderfully thought out. Action packed finale. The characters truly grew and became stronger by the end. Plenty of suspense, danger and mystery that kept you guessing how the author would end it. I look forward to more from this author.

3/4 of the way through I was on the verge on tears!! It took everything i had to finish this series for the simple fact of some repetitive writing but I'm glad I did bc it turned out being awesome! Glad i stuck it out. My only thing is that once you use the same sentence 5 times its time to retire it. Like someone bit their lip that they drew blood....like 20 times and smiled but it was more like a baring of teeth.
I love how everything is tied in from the first two books, thrown in with a twist. Ej Eden made all my young adult book work dreams come true. I love that I felt connected to the characters (good and bad) , that I was passionate enough about the story to like AND dislike characters. Highly recommend reading!!
This book truly captives the reader and has the same good tension that it’s have been in the previous book. The way the characters continued to develop was so beautifully written. If you loved the rest of the series, get ready for this one!.

I have enjoyed this series even though book one took me a little while to get into. I think book two was probably my favourite. But I think this final instalment was a good conclusion to a very interesting and unique story. There was so many twists that helped keep me invested
