The summer is ending and Sarah 'Scoop' Coop doesn't think she's made a difference. She wants to do something more. Then she hears about the new horses the church camp is getting. And how they need a place to stay. Her church pays her to work with the horses for a week, and then teach four of their kids to ride. With the extra horses comes extra work. But everyone's to busy to help Scoop out. Maggie has practices, Jen has appointments and Carla is always with Ray. To make maters worse Carla seems to always be mad at Scoop, but she has no idea why. The friends begin to drift apart, leaving Scoop alone at the stables. Now Scoop needs more help then ever but she refuses to ask, or accept help. But when the group finally gets together and talks -cry's- it out they found out that all they had to do was talk to each other at the beginning. Scoop realizes she just needed to ask for her friends help and they would have gladly given it. That she needed to let them know they were wanted and needed around Horsefeathsers. And her friends realized that they just needed to talk it out with Scoop, instead of holding it in.
I really enjoyed this book! The Horsefeathers gang did what most of us do. A small problem arises and instead of talking it out with others, we keep it back, and let it fester till it becomes worse. Scoop found out that its important to let others know they are needed, and are important in your life. We can't do it on our own. We need our friends.
It was so sad finishing the final book of this wonderful series! Loved every single book!
