Dated but interesting book detailing America's greatest peaks and the unique ecosystems that surround them. I was pleasantly surprised to find I'd climbed a fair number of the peaks profiled by Beckey, who is also a climber.

A coffe table book from the Sierra Club. Some neat pictures. The text is interesting at times, when covering history.
