Quaint, little, rural towns aren't always what they seem. That's what Hazel and Elwood Dell discover when the newlyweds move to Ichabod, North Carolina, where Elwood establishes a clothing store. After a few years, bad things--accidents--start to happen to people the Dell's know, and Elwood discovers that an employee is stealing small sums of money. Is a rural mafia at work, demanding protection money? No, it's far worse than that.
