The book has offers psychological, philosophical, and political insights into how the Abrahamic religions operate - all based from their first patriarch, Abraham. I like how the book uses the Milgram's shock experiment analogy to showed how most people are similar to Abraham. Like Abraham, they would rather follow orders blindly than refuse and do the right thing. It's much easier to live on your knees, than die on your feet.
